i dont believe in god but i dont understand why is that christians reject evolution theory instead of saying: "if evolution theory is right it is the work of god"...i think it is the most intelligent thing to do.

Do any of you who believe in evolution also a Christian? If so can you share your experiences with me? If not were you EVER a christian and if so can I contact you? Reason asking is that I recently posted some questions about evolution and I fially understand it and it makes sense. But I still believe in Christ too. So isn't it possible you can believe in both?

So people always quote a verse in the Quran that says "and kill them wherever you find them." I am not going to lie, it does say that; but it is WAY out of context. Instead of whining about it I'll give you the verses here. Hopefully it'll make more sense:

“Fight in the cause of Allah those who FIGHT YOU, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loves not transgressors. And kill them wherever you catch them and drive them out from whence they drove you out, for TERRORISM is WORSE than killing. But do not engage in combat with them at the sacred mosque unless they engage you in combat there. But if they combat against you, kill them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. But if they cease, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And combat them on until there is no more terrorism or oppression and there prevail justice and faith in Allah. But if THEY CEASE, don't let there be hostility except to those who practice oppression.”
[Surah al-Baqarah: 190-193

PEACE!

Christians have always waved off Christians who committed horrible acts as “these people aren’t Christians”. Like the crusaders. They were actually following gods examples from the Bible. There are lots of examples in the bible where people get slaughtered and murders just because they didn’t believe in God.

What do the rings of light slowly moving away and disappearing mean? I only started recently and I've been seeing these rings of white light moving away then vanishing.
And yes, I have my eyes closed for it.

Jesus was God in the flesh. Jesus is worth more then all of creation put together. Jesus lived a perfect life without sin.

Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.

[All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus,

Whom God put forward before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment.

It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies and accepts as righteous him who has [true] faith in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26 (Amplified Bible)

...society tolerates some of the most unthinkable acts of violence, immorality and perversion? If you can tolerate abortion, homosexuality, prostitution, occult, openly displayed sensuality and pornography why then is society so actively against Christianity?

Why not tolerate them? Don't tell me Christians are tolerated. Just open up a few questions and posts on Y/A and notice the hatred and vile attacks on Christians who have something to say. You speak of freedom of speech, but you want Christians to have no freedom when they were the founders and endorsers of this very concept.

I'm lost right now with God and Satan is taking complete control of my life; I'm trying so hard to fight what I'm going through and it's like it's going nowhere. I'm 18 years old and I haven't been to church in a while. I'm denial about everything that goes and comes into my life. I'm not socially, verbally, or mentally interactive with anyone or anything; I get depressed very easily and I have anixety attacks when I worry. I started off in college doing very well and once I entered into my second semester off college everything started to fail. God was testing me and I fail. I wanna get back with God and give myself up to him again. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to even begin my life with God all over again? Thank You if you can.

For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. Deuteronomy 10:17 Right here God is called Lord of lords

These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.” Revelation 17:14 Right here God(Jesus) is called Lord of lords.

This can mean only 2 things: There is an error in the bible or Jesus is God.

im curious to know what powers, abilities or whatever you guys attribute to satan.

he seems to have so many abilities...the power to posess someone, the power to make bad things happen (implying the ability to move physical objects with some force other than physical movement (using hands to push))

or...say...well...im not sure but christians seem to give satan so many attributes...i was wondring if you guys could give me a list of everything he is able to do

heres the kicker....

1. who gave satan the ability to do these things?
2. why doesent god deny him these abilities
3. why does god allow him to continue to use these abilities
4. why was satan created with these abilities in the first place

We don't try to convice anyone of anything i You get it our you dont. and we love our brother protestents. But at the end of the day we belive in our chatholic church, and what it stands for. And we know that. That is way a churches are full every sunday. And we believe that the body and blood of our lord, live and is present in our chuch. We our not enemies of no one, What protestants believe came from us. We will keep our faith under uncertain times.. we owe Jesus that much.

I was brought up Pentecostal and got "filled" at a young age. I didn't understand what was happening to me fully but it was a very intense experience. I wanted to hear from others about your experiences. Also---is the Holy Ghost infilling a true religious experience or is it the result of hysteria, or an alteration in our brain waves brought on by hours of intense prayer or what? All beliefs may answer but please be nice!
