She thought he was really cute and also had planned to lift his wallet...Women!!

Seriously,1 Kings 10:1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.
2 And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
3 And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.

verse 7: Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

According to verse 2...she took a train...camels must have been too worn out to make the trip,I guess.

This is really a great story and you should read it.
King Solomon was the richest King in the world. I won't describe all the vast
wealth he possessed, but it was great.
He also had many wives and concubines.
I'm sorry, but I forget the Queen's name, but she was a North African.
She was the richest queen known at
that time. She took many expensive presents to the King to form an alliance between their two countries.
I personally believe she wanted a
personal alliance with the King also.
It has been speculated that she accepted his religion and also had a personal relationship with the King.

1 Kings 10:1 "And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions."

Too bad he didn't obey Deuteronomy where it said to not multiply wives. They led the wise man into idolatry.
