I apologized. It was not too late to "fix it."
That would indeed be a terrible thing to happen.
I have been wronged by a dear friend.
That person is not in my life anymore. She never apologized. I would have forgiven her had she done so.
This is a great question. It goes to show....think before you speak. Do nothing out of anger. Wait til you calm down.

I did my mother that way. For nearly thirty years I blamed her for the fact that my little bro and I had to "grow up" in foster care and non functional "adoptive homes". My bro and I lost two other sisters and four brothers. We thought our dad was dead. After all that time I found out that it was NOT her fault at all. She was to be more pittied than all of us kids. My "dad" on the other hand..........guilty! I never got to see my mom again (since 6yrs old) I wish I could have.

We all have done thing to other we regret in hindsight.. When possible make amends.. There are times when it's not possible to make amends so we have to learn from the mistake and let it go...
A simple "I'm sorry" backed with honesty goes a long ways.. Learn to say and accept this simple gesture and life rolls along much more smoothly..

Yes. When I was in high school my friend and I were mean to this not so attractive over-weight girl who thought she was "all that". I always felt bad about making fun of her weight issue. I tried to be really nice to her later but once you've said mean things to someone, even if you apologize, it doesn't erase the words you said.

That's the wonderful thing about Karma, it's never truly too late, maybe too late in this lifetime, but not from the perspective of your eternal soul

It's never to late to fix it if your alive and the other person is also. All you have to do is go to them and admit your wrong and ask them to forgive you.

tho it may seem too late, it isn't...honest....and yes I've had that happened, it's not too late...knowing the wrong and not doing it anymore no matter what, is what that individual wants you to see and know,so that your heart lives to do what is right....the closest one can come to changing his/her past is by not doing the tings that you did...it's action from within

Your heart will speak to his. Thats all you need to worry about. If your heart has spoken-your forgiven. Put it behind you so you can be a better person today.
