im curious to know what powers, abilities or whatever you guys attribute to satan.
he seems to have so many abilities...the power to posess someone, the power to make bad things happen (implying the ability to move physical objects with some force other than physical movement (using hands to push))
or...say...well...im not sure but christians seem to give satan so many attributes...i was wondring if you guys could give me a list of everything he is able to do
heres the kicker....
1. who gave satan the ability to do these things?
2. why doesent god deny him these abilities
3. why does god allow him to continue to use these abilities
4. why was satan created with these abilities in the first place

It must be that Satan has grand powers, to have so many christians fear him this greatly.

It's hard to know what Satan can or can't do. Reading between the lines:
He can't create his own world like Earth.
He can't create living or supernatural beings that are intelligent and have free will
1. who gave satan the ability to do these things?
G-d gave Lucifer these abilities.
2. why doesent god deny him these abilities
3. why does god allow him to continue to use these abilities
I don't know.
4. why was satan created with these abilities in the first place
All the high angels were. Lucifer wanted to reorganize the angels. G-d and the other high angels cast him out.

I do not know fully the extent of satan's power, nor do I wish to. I am protected from him by Jesus Christ.
To answer your questions, I don't know. I do not find it wise, or profitable, to think about this entity at all. I'd rather think about that which is good, noble, lovely, admirable and praiseworthy.

Satan's magical powers are only those you give him because of your personal fear. Better to fear God and the Unknown than Satan. God allows the evolution of his creation and He, as well as us and Satan, are evolving freely. For what end ? No one can know.

satan has no power. he can only do what God allows him to do, temp and test for the most part. He will play the role of antichrist soon.
