Do you think that it is possible that god and the devil are really the same entity? Since good and evil exist in all of us and we are supposed to be created in His image, is it possible that He is just entertaining himself by seeing who will follow which religion?

of reading the answers of Christians on this R & S . No matter what you ask, the answer is always the same--it's their way or nothing. Are there any Christians out there that can give an answer that is thoughtful, intelligent and sensible to a serious intelligent question? Can a Christian think outside the box?

I have been alone for a long time. I am not close with my family because they are completely destructive and unloving. I am a natural loner so its very hard for me to make friends and keep them. The friends I do have are distant friends that I talk to every few months but no one close. I have been praying to God for a husband for almost 10 years and now that I am engaged it seems to be a trick to it because my fiance is in another country and I have no idea when we will be together again. People keep telling me I have to be a joyful christain even if God never sends me a husband but how can I find happiness in knowing the pain in my chest for companionship will never end, that I will not get a chance to have more kids or get a chance to see what it like to make love with a man who adores me? It seems that God does not really care about me being alone and that infact he may want me to be. Why does God not care and why do I have to accept being alone when I know I don't want to me be?

" Fret not thyself because of evildoers....for they shall soon be cut down like the grass....Trust in the Lord and do good, and so shall thy dwell in the land.....The wicked plots against the just and gnashes upon him with his teeth, The Lord LAUGHS AT HIM, for He sees his day coming".(Psalm 37:1-13)

Somewhere in Africa, there is a poor family, starving and dying. Asking for food has not worked. There are no animals about to eat. Water is scarce.

The father of the family needs to feed his family, and so to do so he steals food from the market. His family eats their first meal in months, and his youngest daughter, only of two years of age, gets to live another day thanks to the food.

I mean , i've just recently learned about the conflict dimond situation. And i swear, i will never put another diamond on my finger. These people are tortured and held prisoners, for their "masters" to make money, and for people like me to buy their product. It's sick. I've never learned so much, mostly about myself, and looking a little bit deeper within myself and finding my morals and where i stand , as i did with the movie Blood Diamond. It made me cry. I guess the saying "Beauty is pain", actually is true. Our beauty, their pain.I definatly condone people who are trying to raise awareness and make a difference, even if to one person in this world. Sure as hell this world needs it. Let me know what you think.

"It is well to remind Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day (Sunday) observe a commandment of the Catholic Church"
Priest Brody, in an address reported in the Elizabeth, N.J. News of March 18,1903.

Some people say that LDS believe that we become little gods when we die but that is blasphemy! Also, I thought that angels were created angels and that our spirit goes to Heaven.

Do some Mormons believe that there is more than one god? I know that they think that Christ's Spirit is another man. Christians believe in only one God.

Would God still condemn us and have those prophecies considered full filled since they were given to us anyway? Or would He find some others who are faithful who would carry them out? What are your views?

I believe there is a god. Human kind is too stupid to have created themselves. But i dont attend church and dont believe in most of the religious stuff. I dont believe in pandoras box, and the whole garden of eden thing and all the sins and stuff. I dont believe in the storys and the scriptures. I have been to a church twice. I have been told about giving your whole mind body and soul to god. I dont think I should give my whole mindy body and soul to him. There are many other things i can use my whole mind, body and soul to. Now I may just be confused about the whole philoshophy of religion and stuff bu ti dont know. I belive in the values that god supposedly teaches. Like honesty, trust, faith, forgiviness, helping others, caring for the weak and sick and sutff. So does all this make me an aithiest or just a confused teen? My friend and I were having a conversation and i was talking about how i have room in my heart for everyone and a whole bunch of other stuff. and she said how ....

If conscienceness is only a brain function...then isnt life just like a dream. You live it and then remember nothing of it. Is the Universe all in our head...whats the space between us all. Its like if a tree falls and no one hears it, did it make a sound..well if there is no life in the universe to sense it, then does it really exisit?
