Alright. So, this's what'll happen. You'll choose an answer for the questions below based on the ones most given, and describe why. Or you're just give an answer. But no choosing both or multiple answers for one question. One or the other, deal with it.

Okay, here we go.

Question One: People get into Heaven via...
1. ... announcing Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior.
2. ... doing good deeds.
3. ... asking Jesus to forgive their sins.

Question Two: The Old Testament and its laws...
1. ... is still important and should be followed.
2. ... was nullified by Jesus Christ sacrificing himself.

Question Three: Based on Jesus' teachings, people different than you should be treated...
1. ... with fear and hostility.
2. ... with kindness and openness.

Thank you. By the way, I encourage thumbs down to all those who do not answer these questions via the guidelines given.

How do Mormons explain none of Joseph Smith's prophesies coming true? Could it be that he is a false prophet?

The last 2 questions, prior to this one, I have asked has very damning evidence against the "One True Prophet". I wonder why I'm not getting any answers from Mormons.

Atheists, what do you find so despicible about the teachings of Christianity that makes you so deragatory towards Christians? Christianity is rooted in love and respect for ourselves and each other. What is the harm in that? The display of the ten commandments is challenged almost daily. But why? Would you rather I lie, cheat, steal, murder, dishonor my parents, and envy you?

"This one, true God, of his own goodness and Almighty Power, nor for increasing his own beatitude, nor for attaining his perfection, but in order to manifest this perfection through the benefits which he bestows on creatures, with absolute freedom of counsel "and from the beginning of time, made out of nothing both orders of creatures, the spiritual and the corporeal..." (Lateran Council IV)
Scripture bears witness to faith in creation "Out of nothing" as a truth full of promise and hope. The the mother of seven sons encourages them for martyrdom:
"I do not know how you came into being in my womb. It was not I who gave you life and breath, nor I who set in order the elements within each of you. Therefore the Creator of the world, who shaped the beginning of man and devised the origin of all things, will in his mercy give life and breath to you again....Look at the Heavens and the earth and see everything that is in them, and recognize that God did not make them out of things

I believe that God saw me, a sinner, from before the foundations of the world, and absolutely knew that I would have no power of my own to choose him because of my sin nature that would send me straight to hell anyway, save for his loving grace. Therefore, when the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to the truth of Jesus Christ, there was no need for any authorization to do so, I was just on my knees in thanks and adoration. I don't dare tell the Lord what he can and can't do. God the Father has decreed my obedience, not on the condition that I accept, but through his foreknowledge and predestination of my soul. Thanks be to God, but will I go to hell for tossing acceptance out the window and instead giving God the prerogative of the "rescue" that is my salvation?

"It is true that there is no positive command for infant baptism. Nor is there any for keeping holy the first day of the week (Sun-day) Many believe that Christ changed the Sabbath. But from his own words, we can see that He came for no such purpose. Those who believe that Jesus changed the Sabbath, base it only on supporsition." Amos Binny, Theological Compendium, pp. 180-181

When will Atheist stand up out of the shadows and become an outspoken force? We let the crazy Christians throw there weight around and stand by and take it. I'm not saying we need to organize as much as speak up as individuals. What do you guys think?

I posted a question a few months back, and received answers that Mary the Mother of Jesus was a descendant of Levi (A son of Jacob).
Is this true?

Now since both the lineages in the New Testament (Matthew and Luke) are those of Joseph, how did those who posted know that Mary was of the tribe of Levi?
