Why are the numbers so ridiculously disproportionate?
When counting the dead, Israelis count the people killed in an attack.
When Palestinians count the dead, they count the bomber, the bomb maker the bomb maker's neighbors who were injured when the bomb accidentally went off, Palestinians injured not from Israeli attacks who died in Israeli hospitals, and just about anyone else they can think of.
Why do they give no money to the Palestinians? America does not deal with terrorists. The Palestinians elected a terrorist organization to run their government.
Why have the Palestinians been targeted by no UN resolutions? You cannot draft a resolution for an organization not in the UN, let alone one who doesn't have a country.
It's more than 1 Israeli, and those Palestinians are in prison for a reason, whereas those Israelis have been kidnapped.
Why do you think those homes were demolished? They were substandard. Israel took on major renovation projects both to make room for the fence and also to demolish dangerous housing to put up new housing. That site doesn't mention the number of Palestinian homes BUILT by Israel, does it? Didn't think so.
I agree with you on the settlements. I think most should be moved.
But that site is ridiculously biased and also most of it is untrue.

I honestly don't believe the numbers that website gave. I also think some (though not all!) of what Julia D posted in her answer is true, (and also except the last paragraph, which was rude in the extreme, and which will cause many to totally diregard the facts contained in her answer).
The Jews are fighting to keep the land which they believe to be their God-given inheritance, which they only got back in the 1948 (I think), of which they have been losing some of a piece at a time. They are trying to hang on to what is left. Both sides claim the Temple Mount, which is the big issue at the bottom of this whole thing. This whole land/war thing is prophesied in the Bible. As is the temple. I certainly don't know all the facts, but I know it's a war, and they are acting as countries will do when at war.
And you have my respect as well as L.J.'s....forget ol' whatshisname! lol

They Are To Behave As If They Are People Of God. People Who Believe In Him and Believe He Will Provide For Their Needs And Believe He Will Love Them And Take Care Of Them.

Hmm.... are you Muslim or Jewish? Do you have a hidden propaganda?
AHhAHh, ZER0 C00Lâ¢, the "chosen people" refers to the Jewish people, who do not believe in christ......
EDIT: Oh, okay, in that case... well... wait... no, in any case, I have no idea what "god" would want his people to do.... but I don't think either side (Israeli/Jewish vs. Palestinian/Moslim) is doing what "he" would want (they're all breaking the first commandment)...
Wow, L'Chaim, that was one of the most informative answers I've ever seen on Y/A... I am in awe... good awe, not bad awe!
Julia D: I've been told this by many a Jew, but I still don't understand... how are there no Palestinians? Just because there is no Palestinian state does not mean there are no Palestinians... what do you call all the people in the Palestinian refugee camps? Don't get me wrong, I agree that the Moslims and Arabs have been much worse than the Israelis and Jewish people, and that website is WAAAY out of proportion.... but the Israelis are also killing innocent women, men, and children. Just because they are doing it less, and just because they are falling into the Arabs' traps doesn't mean it's okay... They're still breaking the first commandment, aren't they? I don't think that "god" would be very happy with his "chosen people" today.... even if they aren't as bad as the Moslims...

I think any decent intelligent deity ought to want his or her chosen people to have more than half a brain and to be able to call themselves Christians if they want to but also to be able to acknowledge that all of us are chosen to live on this planet and that Pagans and Witches are just as legitimate as those bone-headed Christians who think theirs is the one and only true faith.
Alas, this god is despairing of his/her people because they persist in acting like bigoted idiots who spout the party line and have no respect for ways other than what is in their own narrow minded heads!

To feel sympathy and pray daily for the lost atheists. We must hug them and care about them, no matter how ignorant or close minded they may be.

I am a little disappointed in you.
the fact that you would by into this 'chosen people' slur and the fact that you would tout political propaganda in the R&S section is equally dissapointing.
Maybe you should seperate your religious animostiy from the situation and try to look at the issue objectively.
If you wish to talk about this I am game, but I must say I have lost a degree of respect for you.
