This is enough of a reason for me to belive in God.
I have noticed that those who are strongly aganist God....i mean the whole anti-christian, i -dont- like -you -if -you -are- a christian, im -going -to -argue- with -you -if -you- are, are usually people who are extremly unhappy. This doesn't include people who just dont believe in higher power, and are okay with people who do belive so. Or people who are "highly educated" and believe in evolution, or the big bang or whatever. But I have met many people who strongly been aganist God, and realized that they are usually the most unhappiest with their life. While many people believe in God, and are unhappy as well, but their overall outlook on life and behavior is much, much different. To me, that is enough reason to believe their must be a God. Has anyone else ever noticed this?

I personally don't think everything in the Bible should be taken literally. Our society has changed since that time and different things apply. I don't think anyone believes in that verse that says kill people who eat shellfish. I just believe that the Bible is a collection of stories that helps us live our lives. What's your opinion?

"...What matter is not the duration of your life, but the donation of it. Not how long you lived, but how you lived.

If your not involved in any service or ministry, what excuse have you been using? Abraham was old, Jacob was insecure, Leah was unattractive, Joseph was abused, Moses stuttered, Gidean was poor, Samson was codependent, Rahab was immoral, David had an affair and all kinds of family problems, Elijah was suicidal, Jeremiah was depressed, Jonah was reluctant, Naomi was a widow, John the Baptist was eccentric to say the least, Peter was hot tempered and impulsive, Martha worried alot, the Samaritan had several failed marriages, Zacchaeus was unpopular, Thomas had doubts, Paul had poor health, and Timothy was timid. This is quite a variety of misfits, but God used each of them in his service. He will use you too if you stop making excuses."-The Purpose: Driven Life

I was wondering what you think about this. =)

I've been told that only Jesus was truly pure and good. But who, would you say, is second best?

Religion is the scape goat for greed and power. When ever someone want to attack religion they always talk about the number of wars that have been fought in the name of religion. They never say I am doing this for greed or power. In the last 5000 years there has not been any years on this planet where it was at total peace. History counts the number of wars, conflicts between any 2 groups of people, around about 15,000 wars, and still this is not all of them. You can look this up in a book called the history of wars. So do you know the total number of wars? Please don't knock my spelling. Thank you.
