"...What matter is not the duration of your life, but the donation of it. Not how long you lived, but how you lived.

If your not involved in any service or ministry, what excuse have you been using? Abraham was old, Jacob was insecure, Leah was unattractive, Joseph was abused, Moses stuttered, Gidean was poor, Samson was codependent, Rahab was immoral, David had an affair and all kinds of family problems, Elijah was suicidal, Jeremiah was depressed, Jonah was reluctant, Naomi was a widow, John the Baptist was eccentric to say the least, Peter was hot tempered and impulsive, Martha worried alot, the Samaritan had several failed marriages, Zacchaeus was unpopular, Thomas had doubts, Paul had poor health, and Timothy was timid. This is quite a variety of misfits, but God used each of them in his service. He will use you too if you stop making excuses."-The Purpose: Driven Life

I was wondering what you think about this. =)

That is so true, we are all flawed and it is in our flesh, but throughout all these flaws, God can use anyone of us for His service. In fact, appart for Jesus which was perfect and sinless and had a specific ministry, God knows how flawed we are and still He uses us to touch/heal/help others to bring them or keep them into the kingdom of Heaven. God laughs at man's wisdom.

All these flaws may seam foolish, but....

God in His word did say:
1Co 1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 and God has chosen the base things of the world, and things which are despised, and things which are not, in order to bring to nothing things that are; 29 so that no flesh should glory in His presence.

And that is why He used all those you mentionned above.
To show man how He can turn a flawed person into a doer of Perfect deeds! (His Will)

I do a lot of good in my life. I don't need to do it through god. I do it through people.
