I know there are openly satanic bands out there.Thats not all of them. So a few bands that openly satanic get the rest of the bands the label. They blame them for suicides murders if they see thats what kind of music they listen to.I listen to it. Do you see me wanting to do any of that stuff. No actualy it makes me want to do the opposite. It actualy brings stress out my life. Its just a few people who have to ruin it. THats it take then people get judged

welllllllll now......being a metalhead all of my life,i wont deny that there is some music out there thats very "evil inspired".some are straight-up satanists.but the vast majority of metal is just that...METAL.speaking i guess,on all subjects that we call life.
now as a christian,i have certainly steered clear of the slayer, celtic frost, cannibal corpse type music for obvious reasons.thats not to say i dont indulge from time to time.but the rest of it is mostly just loud rockin metal.most of it that is.
ultimatly its just music to me......i mean, they could take out the lyrics to 90% of it,and it would still rock.and i would still love it.
my heart is in a new place, and im a new person.and have enough sense to know where the devil is.and one place he is not,is in my driver seat.
p.s. i still miss the pit! god bless!

I am not sure. But I am christian for one. Alot of other christians beleive that the type of music I listen to isn't christian because it is heavy. I listen to alot of christian rock. Like desciple, project 86, family force 5, kutless, ect. They also beleive that there is no such thing as christian rock.

But I believe that it is a blessing because alot of younger people out there love it! They don't like the slow stuff. And if you ignore the music and listen to the words you will hear them rejoicing about Jesus. It is so awesome! The bible doesn't say anywhere (trust me I have lokked and looked) about what kind of instruments you can and can't play or how loud or even how to sing. ASlong as you are singing, rejoicing, and worshipping God, then why does it matter?

I just don't understand this either. Our church plays christian music including christian rock at our services and alot of people get touched by these songs and they get filled with the holy spirit. So I have had lots of experiences like this and no one can tell me that God wasn't reaching me with the song at the time because I was there filled with the holy spirit! I don't care how many don't agree because I know in my heart what God wants for me and only him and I know my experiences. So God Bless you all!

And to go with the heavy metal being evil...I don't think it is unless it's talking about anything that goes against the 10 commandments...like killing and such. So marylin manson....nine inch nails....ect those are bands that are considered going against the 10 commandments.

I'm a Christian and I don't consider it evil. Hmm how do I explain, the music itself isn't bad, a lot of the time the reason we think it's evil is because of the lyrics, a lot of them worship satan, that's not in any way saying that all of it does, but some do, and those that do give that type of music a bad name, it tends to get stereotyped because of the bad ones.

Because some metal bands are openly Satanic like Deicide, the born agains paint the entire genre as "satanic".

because of the fact rather some them use over generalizations and picture that each physique heavy metallic is satanic whilst in basic terms lots of the mind-blowing bands in this sort point out the devil and issues like that. Megadeth would not even point out the devil, their songs take care of politics. lots of people who say that don't understand sufficient approximately Heavy metallic to make this style of fact.

Because so many appear Satanist. They dress like they are on Satan's side and want to influence others in that way.

God loves music and the angels show that by strumming harps. He said, sing, clap and praise .

Most of the heavy metal songs are unchristian and totally unacceptable words. There are bands rock and all others that sing gospel.
They just need to be and appear and sing as Christians, and the way God would approve.

Heavy metal music is evil and there are studies that reflect this truth.

God is Love. John 3:16.

read the lyrics and look at the
way they are dressing and also
and imagine Jesus doing that
Jesus wouldn't be smashing on
drums and ripping guitar strings...
