This is enough of a reason for me to belive in God.
I have noticed that those who are strongly aganist God....i mean the whole anti-christian, i -dont- like -you -if -you -are- a christian, im -going -to -argue- with -you -if -you- are, are usually people who are extremly unhappy. This doesn't include people who just dont believe in higher power, and are okay with people who do belive so. Or people who are "highly educated" and believe in evolution, or the big bang or whatever. But I have met many people who strongly been aganist God, and realized that they are usually the most unhappiest with their life. While many people believe in God, and are unhappy as well, but their overall outlook on life and behavior is much, much different. To me, that is enough reason to believe their must be a God. Has anyone else ever noticed this?

Dude....no one is "against God"; they just realize that there's no evidence that he/she/it exists.

I basically hate the christian religion (mostly for what it's done to every other religion, while still following the principle of turn the other cheek) and will gladly argue against it at every turn. Am I unhappy? No, why? Because I don't need a higher power to show me that life is a tragedy for those who feel and a comedy for those who think.

I think, therefor, life is funny.

I wouldn't say it would be a good reason. Most likely the people you speak of feel supressed by Christianity and that's why they are unhappy. That may seem silly to you, but living in the US, it can feel suffocating sometimes. I mean, many people do feel this is a Christian nation, so for those less laid back people it could be very upsetting and they might feel disrespected and like their own beliefs aren't taken seriously.

Nope. Once again. Don't hate god, Have no belief in god. Quite happy. Not even against Christians for the most part. Just another falsity that can not be proved. If they are strongly against god. They are not atheist and believe in god. So your theory doesn't hold water. I understand what you are trying to say. What it boils down to is people who believe in god and are angry at him are unhappy. They believe but are not happy. So why believe? It's NOT the people who don't believe that are unhappy. So all you have proved is people who believe in god are either happy or unhappy and no atheism is involved.

Well, I agree with you to an extent. However, I think a person can accept evolution and still be a true Christian.

But I do agree that athiests are often not all that happy. I just don't think a person can be happy without having a relationship with God.

I am an Atheist and I am truly happy. I love my life! I have a great job, a great boyfriend- I laugh everyday.

You really shouldn't generalize. You're not very good at it.

I have no problem with those who believe in a higher power.... there ya go, generalizing again.

Are you referring to people who are against Christianity in general because of how dangerous it is to our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness?.
People who don't believe in a god are usually not "against god."

Yup! Proof that the devil works overtime is proof that there is a higher power, God. I'm convinced Atheists are people who are mad at God and throwing temper tantrums like a child--"No! Don't talk to me! You don't exist!" No, they can't try to live life rationally without hate, they have to use it to fuel their Atheism...
I heard Atheists are so angry all the time cause they have no one to fight for them...God have mercy!
