Many people fail to appreciate sarcasm, not only the religious but those who are brainwashed by politically correctness. My philosophy is this: "I tolerate others ridiculing me so that I, in turn, may ridicule others."

Sarcasm is hurtful to the other person and it is ungodly for us to engage in any behaviour, that would hurt another human being. How could that possibly be hard for you to understand ,when we have a heavenly Father to answer for every idle word that comes out of our mouth ???

No, in fact Jesus was pretty sarcastic. When he revealed one of his apostles would betray him, Peter asked "Is it me, Lord?" "No, it is not you Peter." Judas asked "Is it me, Lord" "You said it."
I also don't think he took to being woken up very well either. He was asleep in a boat with his apostles and a storm came up and of course Jesus was sleeping through it and they woke him up because they were scared. After he calmed the storm he bitched at them for not having faith.
And of course the walking on water, he pretty much told Peter "come on out here then."

When are liberals going to understand that belief in a higher power does not involve having a frontal lobotamy?

Religious people are being controlled by their "religion" and tend to be rigid. Don't take it personally; they can't help it.
