I believe there is a god. Human kind is too stupid to have created themselves. But i dont attend church and dont believe in most of the religious stuff. I dont believe in pandoras box, and the whole garden of eden thing and all the sins and stuff. I dont believe in the storys and the scriptures. I have been to a church twice. I have been told about giving your whole mind body and soul to god. I dont think I should give my whole mindy body and soul to him. There are many other things i can use my whole mind, body and soul to. Now I may just be confused about the whole philoshophy of religion and stuff bu ti dont know. I belive in the values that god supposedly teaches. Like honesty, trust, faith, forgiviness, helping others, caring for the weak and sick and sutff. So does all this make me an aithiest or just a confused teen? I also dont think that we need a god to exist. I think we just needed him to help us get started. And i do believe in evolution and all that. The science proves it. I do not believe that we are brother and sister and children of god

I went threw the same things you are at one point my sophomore year. I was so confused!! what i think is that you are definitely not atheist but you just need to open your mind to all that god has written in his word! You may not understand all but i am going to try to help you. When people say give your mind body and soul to him that means that you put all your trust in him and let him use you in these things. that means let godly things be in your mind and your soul be saved and your body as a temple for him! Sins are real. When you sin that only means you do something that god doesn't agree or wants you to do. I understand that you haven't been raised or even seen in a church. Just please for me pick up a bible and just flip threw it and try to understand what god has in store if you will give your life to him to be saved. please write back with more questions.

If you believe there is a god then you are not an atheist. By the way, atheists can and do have morals, honesty, trust, forgiveness, and caring and a host of other good qualities. Christians do not hold the patent for those qualities,

If you're an atheist then you do not believe in god and your first sentence says you believe in god, so you're not an atheist. Sounds like you aren't religious though, no big deal. Remain honest and keep helping others and you will remain a good person...personally I think that matters most.

I think that you are probably just trying to figure things out, you can't be an atheist and believe in God the two things just don't go together. Hopefully as you get older you will understand things more clearly and make the right choice although it sounds as though you are already half way there with your caring nature.

First of all, Pandora's box is just a tall tale, nothing religious. Also, it is admitted in Christianity that Adam and Eve never existed, they were just examples. You're not atheist, just a confused teen. Just keep believing in the Lord.

The Devil knows that he has but a short time before Jesus comes to gather his people and Satan wants for us to be confused,because if we are confused and haven't turned our life over to God than we are lost and that's another soul for Satan.
God on the other hand would love for you to live with him for eternity in his kingdom and wishes for you to make that choice on your own that way you wont feel like you were pushed or forced to do something you did not want to do, that is why God gave us the freedom of choice.
I think you wanna love God , you just haven't been showed how.
