Ok now, there's no need to get emotional here. What I'm looking for here is what they have in common as individuals. Not just the fundamentalists and terrorists.

From a Star Trek perspective the Muslims would be like the Klingon empire, they take with the sword, they seldom win converts by provoking emotional responses other than fear. This isn't to say they don't have good things about them, but they are scary.

From a Star Trek perspective the Christians would be like the Borg. In small isolated groups they are meek, but you only need a few to get it started, then everyone's converting. Once they seize control they honestly tell you that resistance is futile. The key to their strategy is mind control.

To finish the Star Trek analogy there needs to be a United Federation of Planets, there would be the Atheist with logic like Vulcans, and Agnostics would be the scientist, and so on.

I love them all, but sometimes their lack of insight makes me cry.

Blessed Be!

Because all Prophets taught the same belief in God, and most rules of the Religion were the same, there would be some things that muslims, christians, and jews would have in common in their teachings. But because there are now many versions of the bible, there are major differences between the current bibles and the Qur'aan. There are however the mentioning of some of the same stories and people in history. There is some same rules taught such as the prohibition of fornication,

They both have disdain,and often outright hatred for those different than them,or with different beliefs. If they had the power they would both gladly use the power of the government to force others to live as they decree. They have both in their histories slaughtered millions in their quest for control and power in the name of their God. Both are unapologetic for their evil actions,and both have the irritating habit of pretending that atrocities committed in the name of their God were the actions of misguided Muslims/Christians even though at the time a vast majority of the group supported those attrocities. They are both hypocrital groups who demand that others live by their rules,while often disobeying those rules themselves.

Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ....that is hypocrisy.

They reject Christ's diety;
they deny his claim to be the Son of God;
they deny his death on the cross...
they deny His resurrection..
They deny Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
In fact, the Quran says : "Allah has no son".
Need I say more...?

Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.

The Bible calls Muhammed and those like him false prophets:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
