Good question. Is there anything we can do (but haven't) to achieve peace in Palestine? What should we have done to prevent Rwanda? Or is that what you would call 'peace'? Seems we have the same problem in Darfur. We really need to question wars more - in the USA for sure. Obviously, the rest of the world pretty much turned their nose up at Iraq, but not enough people in America questioned the accuracy of the intelligence leading up to the war.

Yes we can but only through JesusChrist. No matter what we go through, having a strong relationship with Him will assure peace, joy, and happiness.We are human and we will anger at times but we should know that turning our problems over to God will take our burdens away and will be handled by Him.

Helpneeded - Is there something serious happening for you at this time? In my life I have experienced my parent's divorce, my Dad's cancer & death, my brother's depression & my uncles's suicide. God has given me peace to cope with life, including these situations. I have no doubt that He cares about every aspect of my life & yours. He alone can give peace whatever the situation, & through Him we can have life forever, starting right now.

Peace will NEVER happen because someone will ALWAYS find fault with you for whatever reason. The best we can do is try to get along a tad better.

I don't think that you can go from birth to death with peace the whole time, but salvation can give you the assurance that no matter what happens, you'll go to heaven. That will give you peace and joy.
