After all, he offers $250,000 (which may or may not exist) to anyone who can demonstrate evolution (although he defines it differently than the scientific community) to a reasonable doubt (meaning with 100% certainty, allowing for no other possibilities whatsoever) in front of a neutral committee (handpicked by Hovind himself) and according to certain criteria (carefully worded so as to rule out any possibility whatsoever of the challenge ever being met).

Maybe it has something to do with the fact he's currently doing time in a Federal Prison.

Is it possible that some people are just karmically fated to be bad? To hurt others and cause them pain? What do you do if you are one of these people?

Many of them demand a statement of Christian faith before joining the faculty. Yet they claim to follow non-discrimination laws. Isn't such a statement of faith an insult to the spirit of free inquiry in academia?

I find that if Jesus returned I would be very happy, because I want to see him face to face. At the same time I realize that I would be sad also, because of all the unrepentive people out here (including some of my family, friends and associates). Maybe this is why God is so patient.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

How would you feel?

The Church of England is an important pillor of the establishment within the UK.

This right has been established legally with, among other things, the Church of England having seats set aside for its Bishops within the House of Lords

Given that many UK subjects belong to other religions or adhere to no religion whatsoever should the Church of England still be entitled to view itself as the national religious body of the United Kingdom?

The reason I ask this is because I am gay, and it is something I did not ask to be. Even though I am, I believe, pray and am close to god, yet, on half the answers people say that God said it is wrong and blasphemous. If I had a boyfriend, I wouldnt go with someone behind his back.
The gayquestion is only an example, but people do it on other questions too. I would just like to know what right have they to use God in a reference as saying that it is wrong, or misunderstand words of the bible and say it is written as wrong.

Try as he may, he could not quite bring himself to believe that Jesus got up after being dead two days, and started walking around like nothing ever happened; and rose into the sky and became a god.

He couldn't make himself believe it. And he never used drugs, so he couldn 't use drugs; he even tried singing church songs, nothing worked.

Ago 3 months, dear kind grandpa has died and gone to Hell.

But -- due to his honesty, respectful and humble nature, his hard work, and his kindness to all, and he never wanted to hurt anyone -- could he at least have his own quarters?

Could he have segregation from murderers, perverts and theives please? Can you church folks check on this for us?

We say please and thank you in advance.

I know how to pray the Rosary but I just got my first Chaplet and I dont know how to pray with it. Oh and its not a thirty bead one. It has the steel crucifix, as always, it starts with a big bead then goes to 10 small beads and it ends with a steel heart shape with Mary in it...or is it Lady Fatima? Oh and it is not the bracelet kind it doesn't connect.
