Foods of the devil?

Question

Other than Devil's food cake and deviled eggs and maybe lucky charms, what foods should I not serve at a picnic Christians are going to be invited to?

For one Ritz Crackers.. back around the mid 70's to the 80's the WHOLE Christian community where I am from, banned and boycotted Ritz crackers because if you looked at them just right you were supposedto see the word "SEX" baked in them. These same people boycotted any Proctor and Gamble products too, because they thought it was owed by the Church of Satan and the trademarked symbol of P&G was Satanic. I am NOT making this up. Before computers and internet, urban legends and myths were spread by word of mouth through close knit groups like schools and churches, and when sombody in the position of athority, like a teacher or a minister , believed somthing was true, it became a "Fact" when they repeated it. P&G used to send out their corperate lawers to crack down on people spreading these rumors.

Don't bring anything that is prohibited to eat according to God in Leviticus 11 (such as pork) Read it for yourself it says it in plain English. (just using pork as an example...one of many). Many people will disagree with me and say that pork is OK to eat and that all that stuff is in the old testament so you don't have to follow it. However I say that God's word is constant and never changes. The diet plan laid out for us in Leviticus is to help us to maintain a healthy lifestyle (food wise), and the diet was laid out from God directly.

Oh yeah, the University of California Berkley conducted an 8 year study which determined that pork is a chemical toxin to the human body. Also a veterinarian's assistant told me once that pork is not good for dogs either since it can give them seizures.

I dont really think it makes a difference because they're not really "food of the devil". cuz i dont think the devil sat down and ate a devils food cake, and my friends are Christians and they dont really care. So on the picnic just serve regular food that doesnt have lamb in it, and if they are offended, just tell them that you tried to make a good meal for them, and hopefully it's the thought that counts for them!

Most Christians I know don't care if you serve devil's food cake or deviled eggs or lucky charms. What's in a name? I probably wouldn't serve all three because it might seem like your trying to promote something, but otherwise who cares.

devil has no foods. Just things that are named after devil food but it does not mean the same meaning, you need not be tempted by the devil to come down on us Christians like a crashing wave all the time. Easy my friend.

You're funny. Christians eat deviled eggs and devils food cake. We're not stupid you know-lol. Thinking we might not like those foods is a little dumb, dont you think?

I don't think it matters.. I am a christian and I'm not easily offended by food!! LOL.. if someone has a problem with it, they won't eat it... you can call them angeled eggs... that's what my mom did growing up!! LOL.. they really are doubled eggs though, not deviled.
