Why history and geography shows, wherever muslims are minority there is violence. In India, Philippines,Russia and the rest of the world are beset by muslim espoused violence, does peace loving countries and christianity would just sit idle as violent muslims want to conquer and rule the world?

Jehovah's Witnesses refuse to take up arms and kill other humans, which is why German Jehovah's Witnesses were put in concentration camps because they refused to salute Hitler and fight in his army.

Obviously, the Catholics, Protestants, Baptists, Atheists, Muslims etc. all did allow themselves to be used and did kill others in wars.

Are there any other religions that actually follow Bible teachings and refuse to serve in the military?

Why is it that some people regard the Bible as being just superstitious nonsense.

It has been a work of inspiration for many people over the past 2,000 years so surely it has been proved to be accurate and relevant just by its sheer longevity of influence?

This happens on both sides, believers and non-believers. Is it really so difficult to ask or answer a question, regardless of your belief system, with respect instead of feeling the need to ridicule and mock? Does it really make you feel better or superior? Is it impossible for each side to get along and respect the opinions and beliefs of another even if it differs from your own?

i always have this believe that there is one GOD who created everything. He send his messenger to earth to help the human thru' many languages. that's why there is muslim, bible, buddhist etc.... because over the years it was passed down from generations to generations. human made mistake or greed made mistake. and that's why many religious come out.

what do you believe?

I ask because, except for the first 18 months of my experience with Paganism I’ve had to be a loan practitioner. I’ve recently gone to some local meetings of COG, which have so far been kind of tedious administrative meetings more than “Worship Services” for lack of a better term.

(I hope that statement is taken with some understanding. Please don’t bust my chops over it.)

Many Pagan books I’ve studied have been flamed by other Pagans, and even some of the popular baseline misconceptions of the faith are sometimes discredited, for example some reject the Rede outright. (I understand that one, because It’s a recent invention to make Wicca more palatable to outsiders.)

I’m not trying to herd cats here, but the lack of structure and reputable teachers is becoming frustrating.

The Holy Quran in Sura Mariam (Chapter 19) Verse #28 says

"O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"

Again same chapter verse# 34 says
"Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute. "

I understand there may be different women bearing the name Mary or Mariam at that time but the Sura identifies Jesus's mother. It mentions Jesus as the Prophet. It mentions Aaron as the brother of Mary. My question is
Did Mary (mother of Jesus Christ) really have a brother name Aaron according to History?

My own personal belief is that the solar system universe, galaxy what ever you like to call it is so so so so old that it is just mentally impossible to think back that far, to when anything started

This feeling eases my mind.

You guys give the most rational answers of all the Christians, but I have another question for you.

If God (Jehovah) has no beginning and has always existed, and Jesus was his first creation in heaven before he was sent down to earth to die etc, then what did God do for eternity before he created Jesus and everything else??

Please explain to me the following?

1) What are the 10 commandments according to your church?
2) Are you aware that your church changed Gods Sabbath Day to a Sunday?
3) Why do you pray through Maria if the Bible says that no one will come to God except through Jesus Christ himself?
4) How can your priests forgive sins if the Bible teaches us that only God can forgive sins?
