In the aggregate, there have been more polytheistic religions than monotheistic ones; so I don't think your claim is true.

I believe in one God in three divine persons, the
Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost and that we
are all sinners that have been forgiven by the death of Jesus Christ and that if we do not believe
that this is true and ask Jesus to be our personal
Savior, then we will perish and spend eternity in hell.
I also believe that humans made up all the religions there are to feel powerful over othe people. They made up rituals like don`t eat meat
on Friday etc. because they want to be the law and
those who live by the law, die by the law. Which
means that if you did one sin, no matter how small,
then you must die and go to hell. Those who live
by the Word of God, who believe the Bible and
are saved by the Blood of Jesus are not under the
law and are given only one commandment-to love
God and their neighbor.

Some religions may have developed that way but then became offshoots. The Crow Indians (presently mainly in Montana) from ancient times pronounce Yaweh but only in song and are not allowed to speak the name of God outside of song. There are a few curious linguistic similarities to semitic in Souxan languages, but I don't have my notes on that, most linguists would say they are coincidences, but they are not.

Once an offshoot religion begins to show clearly that it is in contradiction to its parent religion on main doctrinal points then it is no longer the same religion.

That's pretty close to what I believe. Religion is an attempt to put individual 'spiritual experiences' into a common, cultural language so that it can be shared. However, these spiritual experiences are, by and large, indescribable by language - so it often ends up missing the mark.

That is it, exacftly. Religions are invented by mankind, to help them relate to the Supreme Being in a way they can understand.

And the Supreme Being sits on his/her cloud looking down at us and laughing at how silly we are about the whole thing.
