I always had this urge pushing me towards something -and it was so strong, I was certain it had to be something BIG.
Then I began a spiritual path, and let that go, in the traditional sense of goals and achievement...
I settled down, and redirected my energies towards the microcosm that is me - I began to understand this concept, that if I could truly shift and rise within my own being, that more than anything else I could do, would be of value and service to all.
To live my own beliefs, to refine the qualities I value - this is of obvious benefit to myself, and is an offering to anyone who cares to see - in this way, each is welcome to share my wisdom, and take from it what suits them best -make it their own.
No convincing, no right or wrong - just open windows and doors...

My place in the world is to try to have all of my actions increase the peace in the world, not to increase the conflict. This can be with my own thoughts, with the day to day interactions with family, friends, coworkers and strangers, and in my actions as a member of the global community.

SADLY be cast out of society because I am a non-believer. Or if I did chose to believe be casted out for picking the "wrong" religion.
