Is it because you secretly know it is real?

(A parody to the stupid question the sheep have been asking a lot lately.)

To all the sheep who put something like:
"If you think He's not real and a lie, why do people spend so much time criticizing Him?

Is it because you secretly know He's real?"
i pitty you. I will put it plainly as you appear too stupid to understand my question:
THIS. QUESTION. IS. A. JOKE. MAKING. FUN. OF. A. QUESTION. THAT. YOU. SHEEP. ALWAYS. ASK...
BY. REVERSING. MY. QUESTION. OVER. AND. OVER. YOU. ARE. MAKING. YOURSELVES. LOOK. FOOLISH.

Thank you.

It really is fascinating how a meme will be started by one Christian and quickly spread through R&S to become a dogmatic answer to questions, huh?

It is almost like a re-creation of the early Church.

People fear what they don't understand!

When people criticize evolution it's because they have limited understanding of how things really work in the world.

There are people out there content thinking that religious context is speaking about the creation of the earth as opposed to telling stories of how to improve your life and enrich the lives of others as a follower of that religion.

When they criticize evolution it's because they are fearful for being wrong and believing in something that may or may not be true. They feel as if their intellect and their faith is being challenged by another theory instead of looking at things in a more objective light.

Fear, ignorance, and lack of understanding lead people to lash out at many things especially if it's a threat to their way of life.

We try to discredit that which we fear. Most Christians look at evolution as the one great science that may break down their beliefs. I am a Christian but I also, believe in evolution. Unlike many i am not a Biblical literalist. I always look at anyone bashing anothers belief (whether it is Christians with evolution or atheists with creationism) as an identity crisis. Instead of criticizing each others beliefs we should try and understand why we believe they way we do regardless of Scientific or religious dogma.

As a teacher, I find small children still believing in the brain washing of their parents. By the time they get into hs. religion and the fairy tales of the bible are simply put in another box and aren't really dealt with much... usually kids only come to some real conclusion about religion and its stupidity when they get into college, and take some courses is comparative religions... then it hits them that all religions are the same, all stating that they are the only real one, that their holy book is the true one, and often over coffee at the university somewhere it dawns on them that organized religion is a fraud, and that the only thing that really makes sense in evolution and DNA. They may often remain in a church, but it means nothing.... keeps mama or grandma happy.

Often high school grads just get out of school, never continue on, never really think about how illogical it all is, and just raise their children the same way that they were raised because it is sorta family stuff....and they wish to remain part of a group on Sunday...Then those are the people who write the vicious Christian comments... I suspect in large part that they are trying to convince themselves that the stuff has got to be true, since that is what they were told as a kid, and we all know that mom and dad were always right...

If they have any brains at all, later in life they realize that over and over, they are forced to make leaps of faith in the face of ever mounting truths of heredity, DNA, evolution, and all the rest of it that appears on National Geographic, Discovery Channel etc. But, the bigger the lie, the easier it is to get the unthinking to believe it.. One believes something outlandish, we call him nuts.... get lots to believe it, and it is a religion...

If you know evolution is real, why do you spend so much time defending it ?????

You know it is a big lie. It’s a hypothesis that has never been proved.

Evolution is not a science Evolution defies mathematical probability. Evolution defies laws of physics (second law of thermodynamics.)

Evolution claims, random change & natural selection make simple things spontaneously transform into more complex things without recourse to intelligent design. Chance and random changes simply do not produce higher levels of organization & complexity.

Well, among other reasons, because the purpose of science is to examine and criticize despite the belief of some that science has a lock step mentality and never questions what is established. This belief is normally held by people who feel that shattering a single tenet of their faith would shatter the religion and are sure science works the same way.

The funniest thing about creationistst is that they actually think they have a case. It's time we started televising judicial-style reviews where scientists and creationists can debate their differences openly. It will put to bed a lot of the pathetic lies and myths that creationists have spread about in the last few years and show them for the irrational zealots that they are.

It is not a lie. Having you believe in an invisible man in the sky who watches your every move, sends you into a fiery pit if you displease him, and then says, "I love you" is probably the biggest lie ever perpetuated upon mankind.

i responded to an email i recieved the other day about this same thing...so i'm gonna post what i wrote to him word for word as to why i believe in creationism instead of evolution. if you do not agree with me thats your choice but i do not feel like arguing about this anymore, it's a never ending cycle. 10 reasons why...
1.it requires faith to believe in evolution. because evolution is not scientific. in order for it to truly be scientific it must be observed, no one observes evolution. it must be repeatable..it must be falsifiable.
evolution does none of these things, therefore it cannot be in the realm of science...so says Dr. Karl Popper the greatest philosopher of science in 20th century.
2.evolutions has been proven fraudulent on numerous occasions. the "Apemen" have all been proven to be the imagination of "scientist" trying to "prove" their point.
one noted example was Nebraska man that was used in the scope monkey trial of 1925. Nebraska man was based upon one tooth...later discovered to be the tooth of a pig.
3.evolution/atheisim does not fit into the laws of logic. it is a universal negative and can only be believed by faith. also objects with design and function have a creator. the human brain and eye are the most complex "object" known to man...they must have an intelligent design...how many computers came together by chance?
4.the discovers of dna, watson and crick both declared that the dna molecule was so complex it could not come together by chance i.e. evolution.
5.the evolutionary model oif fish to amphibians, to reptiles to mammals...defies the laws of biology namely dna that says fish will only produce fish, mammals will only produce mammals etc.
6.the science of mathmatical probability used by oxford univ. and cambrige univ. says evolution could have never happened.
7.darwin said evolution stands or falls on the fossil record...of the millions of fossils there is not one fossil that points to a transitional form. now hear this...there are some nice drawings, models, and wishful thinking...kind of like looking at a cloud and saying it looks like an elephant...but not one real transitional form.
8.cambrian strata has 60 genera of plant life plus most of the phyla of invertebrate and a few vertebras.
9.unfavorable reactions exist between most of the building blocks of a living cell so that the cell could not have evolved in a piecemeal fashion.
10.the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics does not support the faith of evolution.
things go from order to disorder not from disorder to order.
by the way, it was Julian Huxley...a proponent of evolution that called evolution a faith.
to all christians...share these things , and continue to defend the faith.

Excellent reversal. At some point, the Creationists will do their next dodge since evolution is supported by too much factual evidence, and faith is only a matter of faith.
