If I were in power, I would tell Muslims living in my Nation to be peaceful and if any Mosque is used to plot Terror, that Mosque will be shut down and condemned as a Terrorist center immediately.

First, Muslims are by no means the only followers of a religion that promotes violence. In fact, Islam is a religion of peace, tolerance, and equality.
Secondly, have you read Christian history? Dare I mention, The Crusades, The Burning Times, The Salem Witch Trials. How about the clashes in the 21st century between Protestant and Catholic CHRISTIANS in Ireland.
Do Muslims have factions in their religion that promote violence...yes. Does Christianity...absolutely. Does every religion...you betcha. Fanatics are in every religion, not just Islam. Religion is an equal opportunity breeding ground for idiots. No religion is immune.
Now let's look at it from an Islamic person's viewpoint. The USA is a nation trying to push Christianity and western values on them. How would you feel (and its obvious) if Islamics came here, made you follow their cultural values? That is the way they feel. We're not any different. We just only see our side of it.
To make a rational, logical, informed statement about something requires immense thought and a willingness to "walk in the other person's shoes." Good luck to you and good journeys. Asking questions is the right start. Keep learning.
By the way, I'm not a Muslim, nor am I a Christian (at least not any more). But I have the ability to understand where both sides are coming from.

SOME Muslim’s are doing the same thing that SOME Christians did during the Inquisitions. (except Muslim’s prefer beheading, whereas the Christian’s preferred burning alive at the stake.)
They, and the rest of the world, will go through the Muslim’s maturing, ‘evolving’ into the next stage of their development, just as Western Europe did until the Reformation came, and then another religion will pop up and begin the cycle again. Hopefully it will not take as many hundreds of years as the inquisition did, since most developing nations are no longer ruled by theology.

I would like to remind you of the violence in Northern Ireland...Christian against Christian. How about the Christians when they first came to what is now Mexico and central America...remember the indigenous people there were wiped out in the name of God...the Christian God?
My point being it isn't just those that call themselves Muslim that are violent but it is also those that call themselves Christian.

When a war is launched, it is not uncommon for civilian casualties to outpace the casualty-rates for soldiers. We see this in Iraq, where the US and her Allies are killing civilians 10X as often as we are killing soldiers.
The Jihadists believe they are in a holy war, and so it should come as no surprise that they have justified the deaths of civilians, much as George Bush believes that his war of agression is God's will and HE sleeps easily at night, and so it is with the Jihadist.
The shoe really DOES fit on the other foot.
