Today at church I was so filled with the Holy Spirit, that God was giving me glimpses of being in his presence like I was in heaven looking back at times i worshiped God in church. This was during praise and worship time through singing. Has this ever happened to you? God just fills me with so much joy!

Many atheists believe that religion is responsible for many of the world's problems. In your opinion, is religion itself - not the adherants per se - immoral?

"I feel most ministers who claim they've heard God's voice are eating too much pizza before they go to bed at night, and it's really an intestinal disorder, not a revelation."

There are romote places in this world where many people have died without hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ?...
The bible teaches that it is appointed man, once to die and then after is the judgement.....it also teaches that Jesus is the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father but by Him.
Then if someone who has never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ dies, tell me how will they be judged according to the gospel?

Would God condemn such a person to Hell???
Can anyone share some light on this one?

Lets hear you views on this one......

so special?

God can do anything, correct? So he could have any number of sons. He could "snap his fingers" and every woman on earth could magically be pregnant with his children.

How is this is a big "sacrifice" for either god or jesus? God is supposedly an omnipotent being.

Wouldn't it have been a lot easier to skip the whole sacrifice thing altogether?

This story just makes no sense to a normal intelligent person who thinks about it at all.

Where did this number come from? Anyone know? And did they take into account the 4.5 BILLION (+- a few hundred million) years it could have taken for that chance to occur? Or are they basing that number on the equations based on the bible that the earth is roughly 12,000 years old?

In the biography, "Joseph Smith, Rough Stone Rolling", it tells that even after the revelation of the word of wisdom Joseph occasionally drank wine and tea.
It's not an anti-mormon book, it was written by an active Mormon.

I believe they are two seperate entities, for example:You might just as well ask are your PC and Windows two separate entities. That goes for any other operating system as well. A PC can do nothing without an operating system or program of some kind and a piece of software can do nothing without a computer on which to run. Are they the same entity or separate

I'm not religious but so this is unbiased. But it just seems weird because the Bible has been edited so many times, how is it still the word of god? The Qur'an has never been modified, so it would make sense if someone decided to be religious they would follow that religion.

Yes, I know, this question is going to get reported...

Anyway, lately, there are quite a few questions from anonymous users out there that are getting reported when they are completely serious. Some one(s) is abusing the report abuse button on questions that do not violate community guidelines. Who agrees with me and wants this nonsense to stop?
