The New Testament was written in the first 100 years AD. The first full version of the Bible was compiled around 300 - 400 AD.
This was the version used until the 1500s when the Protestant Reformation began. The first Protestant Bibles were duplicates of the Catholic Bible but translated to the common languages of the people (German, English, etc.). These Bibles contained the 6 dueterocanonical (or apocryphal) books still found in the modern Catholic version of the Bible.
In the 1600s various Protestant groups began to question those 6 books. Some Protestants moved the 6 books to a seperate section of the Bible between the Old and New Testaments. Other Protestant groups completely removed those books from the Bible altogether.

The Catholic bible has additional books that should not be in there. The bible clearly says that one can add or take away. But to answer part of your question which would go something like this, "How old is the Bible?" is as follows:
The books of the Jewish Bible are believed to have been written over several centuries, beginning in the 10th century BC - by which time the Hebrews are settled in Canaan, or Palestine.
The holiest part of the Bible for Jews is the first five books, known as the Torah ('instruction' or 'law' in Hebrew). In non-Jewish sources these books are sometimes called the Pentateuch.
All 1st five books of the Bible are attributed to Moses, inspired by God.

I don't know about the catholic Bible but the Bible itself is is kinda easy to guess on the age.
People in Moses' day were NOT living multiple centuries like they were in the days of Adam and Eve. So all you have to do is figure out the generations starting with Moses and ending with Jesus, whose birth or death was at least 2000 years ago.
If you are talking about the Bible itself starting with Adam and Eve, when the people lived many centuries the Bible tells you how old they were. I'm not even sure when people had normal ages. But you can look it up.
P.S. - No one knows how long the days were during the 6 days of creation. One day might of been a billion years our time.

The time frame would be between perhaps 8oo BC to 90AD.
The Catholic Church put the Bible together as distinct books under two covers in the 4th Century AD.

This is a hard question, especially since the bible is several thousand years old. It started at the beginning of the world, where Moses recorded it as told to him by God all the way to John at Revelation in A.D So the dates are between early B.C - early A.D. I would recommend to ask a pastor.

All of the books were combined around 400 A.D.
Additional: This would make the Bible itself (as the Bible and not as a bunch of the separate books which make it up) somewhere around1600 years old.
