The list would be skewed by all of those 'donations' by the Gideons. Seriously, *every* hotel room in the US? Let's subtract those from the sales, then do a recount.
Wouldn't it be amazing if all of the believers who own Bibles would actually READ them? Former minister & evangelist Dan Barker offered this insight:
"You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say that we are the ones that need help?"

Well when considering book sales, one also must remember that it has been tradition for decades to have a Bible in every hotel room in North America.(some other countries as well)
Can you even comprehend how many Bibles that is LOL
