Usually when I meditate I cross a swinging bridge, but tonight the bridge was arced and sturdy. And everything in my meditation was easier to do tonight, but I haven't done anything different. I mean, I'm in the same place, I sat in the same position, and it was the same time as usual. I also envisioned a deity, which has never happened before. I'm not a polytheist or a member of any specific religion, in fact, I'm pretty much agnostic.
The meditation I use is a little hodge podge. It's mostly a Wiccan meditation with a little from a couple of other systems thrown in, in case that helps. Please, serious answers only.

I understand that science proves how similar primates are to humans, not just in looks, but in make up. I can't even deny that, because it's there. But just because we are so similar doesn't mean we are evolved from them. Doesn't it make sense that if we were, both primates and humans, created by the same maker that the maker might make us very similarly? Like a painter. You can look at two completely different paintings of the same painter, but if you look at the techniques and the specific way of that painter and how they draw, you can see that the pictures were made by the same painter because of the same design. And like writers. If you read two completely different books, but they are by the same author, usually the author has the same style, voice, and form of writing so that's it's easy to see that the two were both written by the same author.... If you look at two completely different animals and see the similarities, it's easy to see they were created by the same Creator.

when things are bad
free will and your own right to do anything you want/need to do
would be restricted greatly,if god was to steer you away from bad things by being in control of your life, and then you would say why does god stop me from or keep me from doing what others do,you cant have your cake and eat it,look how you resented parental interference when you were a teen upwards
there is a god but he doesnt take over control of peoples lives
thats why you arent sheilded from the worst things that life throw at you,but it also means you would have to forfeit a lot of things in the way you choose to do things if he did,sh!t does happen but there still is a god, what do you say?

What makes you think that any other saint would go to Heaven before the resurrection at Jesus second coming. When he makes his foes his footstool.

Ok, so the Bible is written by inspired prophets and some followers having God speaking to them in some way. Whatever. So if the Bible is true and everything in it is to be believed in: Moses turned his stick into a snake, split the ocean apart, beheld God anatomy from the rear, etc,. Then why are there no such miracles now a days? Where are all the prophets now? Why don't you christians continue the sequence of the human history in your Bible? Why stop the story? If we are reading what happened to our ancestors several thousand years ago from the Bible don't you think that our grand grand grand children would like to know what happened to us? Why not document our stories into the Bilbe? Sadly there are no miracles such as before to attract readers. Don't say that we are too far away from God now that miracles can't occur like before. Don't you have equal faith as Moses? Is your faith less so you can't recieve super natural miracles?
Funny, really funny.

"Nearly half of the US public wants President George W. Bush to face impeachment, and even more favor that fate for Vice President Dick Cheney, according to a poll out Friday."

Mr. Bush, who elevated other little men to high places in the national government, most prominently wild-eyed Fundies, seems not to be impressing Americans who are not keen on destroying our Nation's democracy and replacing it with theocratic fascism.

In answer to a religious questions someone actually answered that a nonbeliever can't read the bible and understand it! This person said that the Hebrew god would not allow a nonbeliever to understand the bible! How in the world is a thinking person to reach a decision to become a follower of this religion if the aforementioned statements are true?
