"Nearly half of the US public wants President George W. Bush to face impeachment, and even more favor that fate for Vice President Dick Cheney, according to a poll out Friday."

Mr. Bush, who elevated other little men to high places in the national government, most prominently wild-eyed Fundies, seems not to be impressing Americans who are not keen on destroying our Nation's democracy and replacing it with theocratic fascism.

Ours is a nation of sheep, whose opinion changes with the breeze.

After 9-11, when Bush was seen as a protector, everyone loved him, despite the fact that he was the same exact frat-boy moron he is today.

When he stood on that carrier deck with the "Mission Accomplished" banner behind him, the American public truly showed their stupidity and ability to be mislead. The few sharp people in society who criticized this disgusting publicity stunt were ridiculed as being unpatriotic.

Now that Iraq is being shown for the debacle it is, where are all these patriots? Why, they've turned their backs on their great and glorious protector. I wonder if the critics will
get an apology?

If Bush had his way, he'd bankrupt this Country to keep waging his personal little war. Thank goodness the Dems took over congress.

Bush's religious beliefs had MUCH influence on how he led the country. He even said God told him to invade Iraq!! He is endorsing the teaching of creationism, a Christian fairy tale, in schools. All his decisions are based on his Christian "morality" rather than what is best for the American people. I can't understand why he got elected twice... are we Americans really this stupid?

Bush's religious beliefs don't have much to do with the manner in which he has led the country. (Obvious exceptions: the stem cell vetoes, and his meddling in the Schiavo case, both of which I detest.) On balance, I approve; his tax cuts were a brilliant success.

He's backed by the rapture rights who will stop at nothing to achieve their agendas. These groups who are on an emotional hallucination should be watched. They have a history of violence whether they're Christian, Muslim, or any other cult.

Who do you think put Bush in office? It wasn't the fundies, it was his pals in the secret societies, who are theocractic fascists.
