the usefulness of animals was discovered by man not by design...it's the intelligent endeavors of research scientist that has put the usefulness of diet into perspective and learned to treat ailment as salmonella but these dangers are facts of life and in my best judgment the sundry bacteria and viral infections are products of the nature of the universe and not a higher purpose for why would a god be so cruel and mean.

You are wrong about God's purpose for animals to be consumed as food. He only stated that we are to be "stewards" of the Earth. That means to live in harmony, and take care of the Earth, including the animals. Humans always twist things to mean only what is convenient for them at the time. The human body does not need animal flesh to
survive, but I suppose it's much easier to kill an animal and consume it than to labor and toil in the fields to grow the grains you need for your protein. I only hope that we are not held accountable for the flesh that we have consumed.

I don't think that when we were created that it was God's intention that man should eat meat. Later on, meat was introduced into our diet. And as for the bacteria. Well there are many problems with the world, disease and bacteria are one of the many things that resulted in the fall of mankind. I believe that when man fell, the world around us was affected also.

Our original diet was fruit, nuts, and grain. Eating animals, was not his original purpose. Meat is a "after thought" because of sin and it severely cut down our lifespan.
