No- the sin at the tower of Babel was trying to get to God our own way... God confused the languages to stop the project... Being bi-lingual or multi-lingual is not a sin

uh well... its not really people that are the source of the gift of tongues. Its a supernatual thing so I guess God has the corner on that market but there is imation market. Not that im going to say who is and isn't but I have felt the real thing is all im saying and I know it can be imitated but isn't the same. Its our spirit in combo with the spirit of God. You know I just read an article about archaeologist finding a language that seemed to be universal all over the world on an internet article. Not sure about the legitimacy of that article but was interesting. Also on more than one web page but I would still want to know more. None the less! was interesting.

Why are you making up laws that are not in Bible. God did not say anything about multiple languages. In fact many of the people in the Bible probably spoke multiple languages, such as Paul, Jesus, Moses, and Solomon. God did not say anything to them. Also the apostles spoke in multiple languages at Pentecost.
You need to have a hobby. Go out and enjoy the summer. It will be gone before you know it. Go ahead get your swimsuit on and jump in that pool.

God created languages, and then gave chosen people the ability to speak in tongues. That is not going against His will. It is simply absurd to think that if you speak more languages you are being sinful. Nowhere on the bible says "Thou shal not speak more than one language", so stop trying to find sins where there are none.

Apples and oranges.
Totally different.
Speaking several languages does not predispose you to trying to unite the people whose languages you speak, & convince them that they can/should build a craven image that God forbid them to do.
The Tower of Babal explains when and why God changed all humanity from one language to giving all humanity different languages.

No. Unless you can teach everyone in the world every language in the world, people are still divided by language barriers.

And God said, He who speaks more than the language of his birth shall be accursed.....WHAT? It never says that. Just because God confused the languages does not mean we cannot learn more than one. It just made it harder for them to be united in their evil.

You have it backward. The story in the Old Testament explains the origin of multiple languages - to confound humanity's attempt at acquiring knowledge.
The sin would be to create a world-language. The founders of Esperanto are burning.
