if everything was made from nothing
who/what do u think created this???
1. DNA's
2.Cells & brain cells
3.sexual organs [male and felmale matching up so they can have babies] like god says something about to multiply
4.the sun. its the closest star to us that happens to be in the perfect location. The Proxima Centauri could've been the closest star but earth was in the way making it perfect for us.
5.human's the 5 senses
6.love
7.feet and hands to hold and walk, organs [lungs and heart & bladder] if god didn't exist.-we couldve been born with no asshole and the **** wud get stuck. dont u think or the bladder probably wud've burst? lol sorry

all this couldn't have been made from NOTHING or the BIG BANG
dont u think ONE thing could've been wrong such as no air?? but its not that way, so we know god created all this.

why do unbelievers try to make up the excuse of it all JUST HAPPENED to try to prove us believers wrong?? cuz it obviously doesnt prove anything.

If God were the real pure intelligence OR energy would he want his creatures to kill each other in his name.Does it make God look awfully intelligent?Isn't it like a mother bringing up her children and grandchildren to fight each other in her name ostensibly? How many parents have the guts to let their progeny choose their own faith after they attain the requisite maturity. Why do people fight in the name of books which they say were faxed from heaven?Don't all these books require their followers to think and come to the conclusions and realisations.Aren't all these books doctored over the centuries and vetoed by presidents? Why don't they focus on similarities instead of differences?Do they read the other books before claiming their book is right? Is it time for a new religion a new way of life ?Who'll take the lead?

If a prostitute who is also a believer has repented and sins no more, is she safe until her next sin? If she sins again, and repents again, is she safe until her next sin? Does she have to die while sinning to go to hell? Just how forgiving is this Jesus?

If your answer is no, then why some Christians believe in Original Sin?

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.

Romans 5:15
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift.
For if through the offence of one many be
dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift
by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ,
hath abounded unto many.

Is it a lack of belief of God or a lack of belief in religion? I know the dictionary definition, but I’ve seen conflicting Atheist views on here. Is it the same in Atheism as it is in Christianity...different sects of Atheism?

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there
is none other name under heaven given among
men, whereby we must be saved.

My mother and father are in denial of my choice of "religion"... and refuse to accept that I am an atheist. *sigh* I think I'm almost ready to tell my extended family my "beliefs" but my parents are doing everything they can to stop me.....

Is there any way to make them understand and respect my choice? (my parents and my extend family) I'm afraid I might just have to distance myself from my extremely Christian family next year when I graduate because I cannot handle their disrespect any more.... I have never once tried to tell them their religion is wrong... not once... but I can't go an hour hearing about how I'm going to suffer and it isn't to late...

I really need some help here....

Why is a rape baby worth less than a "regular" baby?

2007-07-02 13:01:54 · 38 answers · asked by Anonymous

I remember as a kid being told unbaptised babies go to limbo when they die. A place that is never heaven or hell, and basicly just like being asleep.

The idea that someone who lives a good life, but can not accept something that their intellect rejects as ludicrous should burn in hell for eternity is just so clearly NOT the act of a loving god.

Why are christians so hell bent on atheists burning in hell rather than putting forth a slightly more civil option like limbo?

In this question (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070702164448AAhz1rU&r=w),
I asked "Why do people assume that a woman who has had abortion regrets it?"

Someone responded that she'd never met a women who didn't.

My question is: do you think the reason few people have met a woman who didn't regret her abortion is because women who have abortions fear the reactions they will get? For instance, in this question, many people strongly believe that abortion is murder, and some said that they would call a woman a murderer to her face. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkYPejAsRGr1CU6OphPyQCPsy6IX?qid=20070702152211AAk7KVe

So, maybe because of the very harsh reaction by those who oppose abortion, women don't speak out about how abortion helped their lives? Maybe?

Just a thought.

As a child i was never bapized but always attended church with my family. Recently i have had a growing interest in the Catholic Church after spending time there with my girlfriend and her family.

I have decided to enter the RCIA program at a local Catholic Church because now that i am old enough to see how important it is to do so...and to my surprise i have a strong excitment about it as well. These are my questions

1) If i am baptized in a Christian church does that oucnt in the Catholic faith?

2) Before i enter the RCIA if I study the Catholic faith in great detail could that speed my process though RCIA? (Not in a rush but i read that someones was a part of it for 3 years....I know that everything happens when a person is ready but is it possible to complete the program quicker?

#) One of but not the main reason why i want to convert is so that when i have kids i want them to grow up in the Catholic faith..Is this a good reason to give the priest as well?

Thank You.

I'm an athiest, He's a Christian. I never try to push my beliefs (non-beliefs) on him although we do have religious discussions from time to time. He's also married and has a Christian wife. He doesn't love her but won't leave her because she can't (won't) make it on her own. I'm not pushing it because I don't want to get married and like my life the way it is. The only thing that bothers me is this issue. He fervently believes that He will go to Hell because He's living a sinful life and I feel guilty because I'm part of that even though I don't believe the way He does. Should I let him go and let him make his own decisions about his wife and not be a part of it? I love him and he loves me and though I've tried to leave him I can't and he begs me not to. FWIW, she doesn't give him what he needs in bed or out, isn't that a sin?

Religions are like multi-story buildings and their foundations are in the form of religious texts. In the case of Christianity, the foundation is of course the bible. Like all buildings, the foundations must be solid and unchanging. For many centuries, the bible was a solid and unchanging foundation for Christianity but in the last couple of centuries with advances in science and technology, the foundation has been proved to be anything but solid and unchanging. Many Christians today instinctively know that to have a 100% literal interpretation of the bible is to be fundamental, which is bad. So that means it should be ‘mission accomplished’ for atheists! The bible is not to be taken literally anymore, Gods inerrant word is not perfect and the bible is a dodgy foundation; why does the building still stand?

My son is asking questions about different types of hells, we covered Christian, and Norse but, when it came to Celtic I couldn't come up with anything. With everything I've read I can't remember a Celtic hell realm. Does anyone out there know, good or bad, a story, myth, of a Celtic hell? Or can you lead me there?
