You could by-pass "original sin" by accepting Islam, because Muslims do not believe in original sin.
If Adam and Eve were created "sinless" then how could they possible sin- the truly righteous will always remain righteous.
The ideology of "original sin" was created by the Church to make you feel guilty. And guilt is the one major card that the Church likes to use for just about everything. Did you go to mass on Sunday?
If Christ "did" die for our sins then there is no more original sin. He removed it. The stain is gone.
So the only sin you have to worry about are the ones you create.
Pretty straight forward eh?

You are not blamed for another persons sin. Original sin (Adam and Eve) introduced sin into the world and man has sinned since then. Before they ate the apple there was no sin and no death.

You are blamed for your own sin.

I personally am not sure why some believe in Original Sin. I personally do not. It is my belief that Christ's atonement paid the price for Adam and Eve's disobedience as well as the sins of those who choose to follow Him. In a nutshell, the only sins mortals will ever possibly have to answer for are their own, and not Adam's transgression.

Hopefully all Christians believe in Original Sin. Adam and Eve were created perfect and sinless. They had one rule. Do not eat of the fruit of the tree in the center of the garden. They chose to disobey and were no longer perfect. They became something different from what they were originally and we have no way of getting back to who we originally were, except by the shed blood of Jesus.

It's not your parents' sin, but the sin nature in all of us that was released into our would by the vanity of Adam and Eve.

Fortunately, Jesus washes away our sins and puts us in right standing with God, if only we trust in Him for salvation. Sadly, that's a tough one for a lot of people to swallow.

I dont believe in original sin. (i am not a christian btw) It doesn't make any sense to me
Did Adam asked my permission before taking the apple? No. Then, why should I bare the sin of Adam?? maybe Adam took permission from those who believes in it, But why me??
and don't you think God is way to much forgiving to curse human race?

Imagine a master told his servants to obey him. but they disobeyed him. So, the master killed his own son, he told the servants"Believe that my son died because of your disobedience and you will be forgiven" does that story makes sense to you? I believe every person is responsible for his own action and every action has certain consequenses. Once you lift one end of the stick, you lift the other end too

The sin is passed down to you from your parents, grandparents and great grandparents. A curse without a cause does not come. Their sin can bring a curse on you and you will begin to sin that sin.

Everyone is responsible for his/her actions! Including your parents! But: people can make the road to heaven more difficult for others! THAT IS A SERIOUS MISTAKE! For example: Persecution of the true believers! This is what people did to Jesus when he lived on the Earth. And of course they not only persecuted him, THEY KILLED HIM!

No one should be blamed for someone else's sin.

Because of original sin, we inherited a spiritual gene that makes each one of us sinners in our own right. We are guilty of our own sins.
