My son is asking questions about different types of hells, we covered Christian, and Norse but, when it came to Celtic I couldn't come up with anything. With everything I've read I can't remember a Celtic hell realm. Does anyone out there know, good or bad, a story, myth, of a Celtic hell? Or can you lead me there?

There really isn't a Celtic "hell", per se. There's assorted areas of the Otherworld - Isle of the Blessed, Isle of Women, Isle of the Ever-Young, etc - and while some of them might be less pleasant than others, I don't recall a story of a singular locale that's reserved solely for punishment.

When you say Celtic, it covers a broad range of peoples, as the Celts were all over the place. In the Irish mythology, there is no creation story and no hell.
The scariest thing you'll find is stories of the Fae.. Jenny Greenteeth might drown you in the river, or a changeling might be replaced for your baby, or that if you step into a faery ring, the fae might carry you off to their land and when you return after what you thought was a day will be a hundred years in our time. These all came after the gods and goddesses went underground and the fae were reduced to "little things with wings", though.
Hope this helps.

No hell for the Irish (and the other Celts)
We go to Tir na-n-óg, the land of the young, when we die.

the Welsh had Annwm, a similar concept, there is actually a story of a human king changing places with the king of the under/other world.

Sorry, but my ancestry is Norse, and our version of hell was when Great Aunt Albertina came to our house and pinched our cheeks so hard we would yell, and then she would say, in her Norwegian accent, "So did you like dos spankin's I gave you?" Then she would make us eat rumagrout and ludefisk until we puked.

Hell sounds more attractive... :)

I couldn't think of any off the top of my head, but try google, yahoo, and ask search engines.
