John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there
is none other name under heaven given among
men, whereby we must be saved.

Religion is not the word to use, my brother. Factual truth via the Lord Jesus Christ- a relationship that is the difference between life and death!
We all can have it- no candle burning, door knocking, pushing people down by the forehead, putting poor Mary on your front lawn, chanting, black coal on the head, incense burning, bicycle riding in a black suit, playing with snakes, not celebrating holidays or birthdays and no eatin meat necessary!!!! Salvation is free!! No work needed!!! Believe He is the Messiah!!! HE died for ALL of us, even the non-believer!!!!! AMEN!!!
I LOVE all kinds of music, but a song that really touched my soul is by Third Day. Thief (2006). It shows the true Mercy of Jesus and how when you believe ( truly believe ) He will never let you go!!!! I challenge all the non-believers to REALLY listen to the song. Not to mention the song is a true story!

It isn't the only religion- there are dozens of others.

Quoting the Bible as a way of saying the Bible is right, is pretty silly. If someone came up to you and offered to clean you house for FREE, "just give me your house keys" would you trust them?

What if they had a handful of references? Would you trust them, or would you CALL some of the references? Before handing your house keys over to a total stranger?

Christianity is more of a *relationship* with the *only* one, true God, Creator of the universe, and all that is within it, and with Jesus Christ, His only, begotten and sinless Son, who died for the sins of all mankind. God desires thal *all* accept His Son as Lord and Savior, so that they shall not go to the hell (of eternal separation from God and their saved loved ones) which was prepared for the devil and his angels; but will, instead, spend eternity with Him. However, God recognizes that some people will *not* choose to be saved regardless of how many opportunities He gives them. Nevertheless, eventually, ". . . at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father." Philippians 2:10,11(NIV)

Christianity is not the only religion. There are many other religions. You are just thinking that only yours that matters. So you are self centered in your opinion. So I will just remind you of a historic fact. The christians went to the british isles to convert the celtic people to christianity. Thus the pagan faith predates your faith. So christianity is one of the new faith.

I may be under the spell of some hypnotic, hallucinogenic super drugs, but the last time I checked there were a whole bunch of religions.

I think you just answered your own question...

seriously, what gives man? also, this is hardly proof that christianity is the only religion, even if it were true. not all religions aspire salvation (or indeed profess that people need to be saved) and if you don't wish to join some heavenly father it doesn't matter who is the only way to him!

You're really asking that? Of course Christianity is not the only religion!

that is a very good question. It does make one wonder, there are approx 7 billion people in the world, approx 2 billion christians. that means according to the christian religion: generation after generation 5 billion people are subject to burn in hell. Get real ,what kind of god would do that, not the kind I would sign up under.

I am Christian. Christianity is not the only Religion practied on this planet. It is the only one that offers a personal relationship with your Creator, I believe. As far as I know, no other Religion offers that.

I do believe exactly as it is stated above that no one can make it into the presence of the Father except through Jesus.

What a religion states about itself proves nothing. Every religion states that it is the only one.

The LDS state that Jesus preached to the Indians in the US. Are they wrong? Prove it. The Book of Mormon states they are right.
