Did you know many hymns took their music from old barroom tunes & they simply doctored up the words?

I am not Christian anymore, but don't butcher a good hymn like that. I still love some of the good ole hymns . Sons are songs. I still love Johnny Cash's Peace In the Valley. Some of the best folk song around are spirituals like This Train.
I am on many Wicca boards and people sometimes take Christian poems and reword them. We have better things to do than rewrite Christian poems and songs to become ours. Use talent to write true Wiccan poems and songs.

Personally I don't like stealing music and re-writing the words. I have to say that is with any music though not just this. ;-)
