Please god help me beat my fellow human to a lifeless bloody stump.
Or is he praying that it will be a fair fight and no one gets hurt.

It's all very new and faddish, they never used to blab on about their "personal relationships" with God before...if it's at all true he's a bit of a promiscuous friend isn't he considering the number of folk claiming this?

Why so so many Christans think it's evil to believe we become like God... that we eventually can become gods?

1.To become heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, being glorified together (Romans 8:14-18)
2. As sons (and daughters) of God, to inherit all things that the Father has (Revelation 21:7)
3.To become one with Christ, as Christ is one with the Father (John 17:20-23)
4.To sit with Christ on His throne (Rev. 3:21)
5.To receive a glorified, immortal body like the body that Christ has (Philip. 3:21)
6.To partake of the divine nature and be given all things pertaining to life and godliness, receiving glory (2 Peter 1:3-4)
7.To be made - in some way - like Christ when He returns (1 John 3:2)
8.To be made kings and priests unto God and his Father (Rev. 1:6)
9. As spirit children of God, to become partakers of his holiness (Heb. 12:9-10)
10.To be exalted by God (1 Peter 5:6)
11.To become perfect, even as our Father in Heaven is perfect (Matt. 5:48)

And/or when asked what star sign you were born under, you freely say it and let them read you yours or allow them to discuss it with you?

Did you know it is an abomination to The Lord God?

Isaiah 47
12 "Keep on, then, with your magic spells and with your many sorceries, which you have labored at since childhood. Perhaps you will succeed, perhaps you will cause terror.
13 All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your ASTROLOGERS come forward, those STARGAZERS who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you.
14 Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. Here are no coals to warm anyone; here is no fire to sit by.
15 That is all they can do for you-- these you have labored with and trafficked with since childhood. Each of them goes on in his error; there is not one that can save you.

Do a Bible study of it yourself and see?

I have King James Version with me & I find that it containd 39 books in Old testaments and 27 books in New testament.

Are all of those books given to Jesus Christ peace be on him or any one of it?

Now some one has to believe all of those books to be a Christian by faith?

you put up a joke answer, people get all bent out of shape and take it seriously?

For example, questions that I've asked recently and the # of responses:
Is "diabolical mimicry" the reason why so much of the bible is similar to much earlier pagan myths? (3 answers)
Doesn't the concept of Hell violate the Geneva Conventions? (4)
Will all of you good christians pray to your god to snuff out the fires of hell? (7)

And then there is - Is it true that in Heaven you have to listen to Pat Boone and Jim Nabors 45 records constantly? (15)
Just why the hell is virginity considered a GOOD thing?? (15)

This doesn't always happen, some joke answers get few responses, some serious ones get a lot. But almost all of the answers I get to the serious questions are one line long and are usually a personal attack or telling me I'm taking things out of context.

They only believe what they can see... is that narrow minded? They dont believe in ghosts, spirits, or anything supernatural. Then they go and call other religions narrow minded when its they who exhibit just as much intolerance as anyone else! This is clearly hypocritcal, is it not?

my problem is that I have this constant desire to make any other man want me. I was popular in school and I guess that's why but, I'm married now. I can't stop thinking about these certain, specific men. In a real life believer's point of view, is God upset with me? I mean, I don't actually DO anything other than try to look good for the guys...but i'm married!

Even if you argue 'well, that's evidence that there MUST have been a global flood', (Which the geology doesn't support.) the fact is that these flood stories - Sumerian and Babylonian - predate the bible. Isn't it a lot more likely that the Hebrews picked up the story along the way and turned it into a myth that would be relevent to them? How can you take it literally when the Sumerians and Babylonians had almost the exact same story but with their gods and their characters?
