Satan convinces christains to worship him. God is the unltimate loving being in all of exsistance. Any christian who thinks that god flooded the earth in a petty act of rage killing all but 2 of each kinda of animal has been decieved by satan. Any christian that puts their religion above others is comitting the sin of pride against 5.? BILLION people they have been tricked by satan the deciever. Some christians think that god will torture people in hell for eternity. Even the most evil men have not tortured even 1 person for eternity they are implying that god is more evil than the most evil people. They are implying that they worship satan. They are all waiting for their dark god satan to come and destroy the earth. They have been tricked by their own arogance.

He makes people believe that evil is a good thing. He makes people believe they can't live without addictions. He is the father of lies. Just like Eve he told her she would be like God. She believed what he said and lost out on the good things in life. Adam was with her also, and he believed the lie also. That is how Satan tricks people. Making them believe they are going to get the best out of life.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

There are millions and million of ways sat an tricks us. It depends on the fact. The actual trick is not to do what God wants you to do. Which separates you form God mercy that makes you think that there is no God. if your married and you want that beautiful woman who keeps approaching you. sat-an is tricking you to take this woman for yourself. But the lie is that that woman is good for you. Cause taking her makes you an adulterous. Now you sin which separate you from Gods mercy. That's an example.

He manipulates and makes people do things out of the ordinary and norm. He causes divorces and makes each person believe one is cheating. He causes people to kill other people and lie and say that "God" spoke to them. He tells people that it's okay to have sex with a child. He tells people on drugs that it's okay to lie, cheat and steal. He tells people to serve him and go and blow up buildings, become a suicide bomber. He also tells our young people to point a gun to their heads and pull the trigger and they will live or be reincarnated. That's only 1% of what he does. Hopefully this helps.

I think his favorite is convincing married couples that they are not a team, being attacked by an enemy, but that they are each other's enemy. He stole that one from Gideon and his 300.
