I don't know what to think about this. At 4 a.m. I was awake in my room and reading. My bedside lamp turned off on its own. I turned it back on. At 5 a.m. I fell asleep and woke my children up, screaming bloody murder. There was a man standing over me, wearing very distinctive clothing--and I was swinging at him and kicking. He "left". My children told me later that they prayed for me and went back to sleep. Today, the lamp in my bedroom has been turning on by itself (it is a "touch" lamp). I turn it off, and within a few minutes, it turns back on.

So, when my children got home from school, we talked about this occurrence. I am ready to believe that there is a lamp malfunction, and that what I experienced last night was a night terror.

They admitted to seeing this person before in other rooms in the house, and he was violent with my daughter recently. Then she told me what he wears--the same clothing I saw him in. I "prayed" him out of the house in case it's a spirit. Is this enuff?

that my nephews killer is now serving 20 years for drugs even if he managed to get a "No Bill" in self defense for my nephews death? I do not hate him but part of me feels relieved that he can harm no other young men. My nephew was only 20 years old.

I really am astounded by the ignorance, the last question I asked some people responded by saying such things as.. Talk to me when you see a cat have a litter of puppies and can document it with video tape. Show me a man coming out of the vagina of a chimp and we can talk further about your views. I can't see yellow parrots and blue parrots begotting field mice. OR.. If man came from a monkey...why ARE MONKEYS STILL HERE? Wouldn't they all turn to men. Show me a species that is evolving now. Bears are still having bears...lions still having lions.
No wonder they dont accept evolution they dont even know what it is.. of course a cat isnt going to give birth to puppies.. thats just an ignorant statement all around that shows a complete LACK of any knowledge of evolutionary biology whatsoever. SO I want to know where do u ppl get these ideas? it certainly isnt from science as it has NEVER claimed or stated that one species will spontaneously give birth to a totally different species.

Hi all,

I met this really great guy. But I don't know if it will work because he's Protestant and I am Catholic. My sister told me that he won't want anything to do with me because of my religion. But I think it's wrong because anybody can be together as long as they learn to comprimise, right?

What do you think?

i mean if they don't believe in a God...why are they poking their noses into this section....

maybe they are curious and in self - denial.

or maybe they are trying to assure themselves by questioning alot that God really doesnt exist.

but still, we christians welcome you to the spiritual world!

Is the bible character Lucifer the same person/entity as the Devil/Satan? If so, can you please site an example in the bible or passage or something. According to The Secret History of Lucifer, Lucifer is just a "fallen angel"... that doesn't suggest much about him being and incarnation of evil. Not to mention what his name means. Anyway, is he or is he not?

the words of the Bible has been changed to fit the desire of those who wrote it, look how each writer is trying to twist this verse to his own believe Matthew 19:17

first, it's very abvious Jesus has seperated himself from being God, God and Jesus are two different thing.

King James Version, Matthew 19:17
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

2nd writer didn't like how this Verse showing God and Jesus are two different thing, so he has to write it differently than the king James version to make Jesus appear as he is God:

skeptics are well aware that christian theology says that.
why can't you give a straight answer and truly at least TRY to explain why god would be so perverse in the first place?

you tell me to nevermind the perversity of those things because "jesus made those laws no longer in effect,"
well, i tell you that i wan't to know why the hell they were in effect in the first place!!

I've seen time and time again how this has happened, and i think it really shows something that every time the issue is brought up, it seems nothing is ever said about why god said such things, the quick and self satisfied response is that "jesus changed all that"

That the bible is a set of rules that are set in stone and cannot be altered?

It is my knowledge that the stories have been changed from there original state to suit the catholic church..many of you know this and you still believe in them...?

After having been to several churches of different faiths I have come to realize that no one religion is right. What I took away from each is that the people in each religion feels that there way is the right way and that everyone else is wrong.

I believe that the bible is nothing more than a guide, because lord knows we need a guide. Now the whole the earth was created in 7 days in crap, the reason I believe that is there are ummm fossils that are millions of years old. The people that are saying that dinosaurs and humans "co-existed" are out of their damn minds! Their is NO WAY! Humans would not have survived and thus we would not be here. Come on folks get real and lighten the hell up! There are way more important things to take seriously than stories out of a bible.

What sin is reproduction?
DO you look back to Adam and Eve for original sin, because if you believe that non-literal reference to creation, then you deserve the confussion in your soul.
The Creator has shown nothing but love and pride in Mankind, and still you turn to other men to tell you how to behave.
