The number of christians decline while the numbers of world's population increased. Churches in UK, Germany, Finland are now abandoned. Only few of grannies attend the sunday service.

Though christianity movement in Hispano-America, People's Republic of China, India, Thailand, Indonesia attracts so many people, they someday will leave it - just a matter of time.

So, will Christianity exist in 3000s?

I could not find comfort, neither in belief nor in disbelief.
Fiction is so untrue. Reality is too bad to face it.

Think hard and see if this makes sense. But on the other hand its actually doing humanity a favour.

God confused the languages of people at Babel.- True.

However now connectivity and languages is not an issue. Its getting people from all corners of the globe to agree on one thing. Swear not to procreate and let the current human race die off

I know its not possible as there are many people out there who blindly want kids in the name of love or whatever. But think ! If human race succeed in doing this, wouldn't this alter the course of the bible? What can God do? Forced insemination?

Your views?

I am openly Pagan. My family supports me even though they are almost all Christians. My brother who is a liberal Christian has started a serious relationship with a girl who attends the most heinous Neo Con Conservative hate mongering church I've ever seen. This church once told a friend's mother to send her away because she was bringing the devil into their house. Also, they protest Harry Potter movies and Halloween. We have a tight knit family and we routinely get together for social events. Today she found out that I was Pagan and I'm afraid of what she might do at this weekend's get together. Any suggestions? I don't want to offend my brother.

My parents are Christian and I was brought up in a Christian household. I am currently assessing where I stand on the 'faith issue'. I started reading 'The God Delusion' yesterday evening, and it occured to me that I don't know how I feel about celebrating Xmas as a non-believer. How do you feel about it? Is it hypocrytical for an idividual to celebrate Xmas for cultural rather than religious reasons?

All and anyone welcome to answer without preaching. :)

I asked a question yesterday and some guy told me his religion is "Kama Sutra"

I know that Sutra has something to do with Indian religions, because Buddhism uses that term.
So my guess would be it branched off of hinduism right?

so what are the teachings of this religion? the guy said that his god is Love, so it sounds like a very kind and caring religion, either that or it is a religion a pervert would like :) lol

thanks!

"And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." Revelation 11:8

Does this mean that Jesus was crucified in Sodom or Egypt?

Here are some Bible scriptures:

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.

Philippians 3:13-14 But one thing I do; forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:28-29 And I know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son.

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,

you read this verse before? do you know that WE christians who do not TRY to live a holy life with God's power can end up in hell too?

Rev 3:14-19 God says to the people "You are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of My mouth. For you say 'I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing.' You don’t realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked."

Billy Graham" from America, Josh McDowell effuses in his book "THE RESURRECTION FACTOR", saying, "I WAS FORCED TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST IS EITHER ONE OF THE MOST WICKED, HEARTLESS, VICIOUS, HOAXES EVER FOISTED UPON THE MINDS OF MEN, OR IT IS THE MOST FANTASTIC FACT OF HISTORY.

I really like reading Harry Potter books. It's not easy to find good books to read. But how is it that Harry Potter is sinning against God? I never think it refers to sin against God or have anything to do with God.

This was bothering me for awhile and I really need some answers. If you were a good person but didn't believe in God, would you still go to Hell? I just hate the thought of someone dedicating themselves to helping others and in the end going to Hell as their reward. Any help is appreciated.
