Even in the face of literally millions of pieces of evidence? Is that what they call blind faith?

"The only sensible answer"?

So you think that blind faith is more sensible than scientific fact?

Yes, there are people who are either too lazy or too stupid to consider using their minds as anything more than parrots mindlessly regurgitating whatever archaic dribble their religion has commanded they believe. There are even some really ignorant people who believe the earth was magically created in 4004 B.C.

According to a Gallup poll a few years ago, 47% of the U.S. believed that man was created in his present form, and that they believed more in creationism than evolution. Ack.

Millions of pieces of evidence that have been interpreted by those who automatically assume that evolution is correct.

If you look at the viewpoint of the creation scientists also, you will see the same evidence being interpreted differently.

As I have a very personal relationship with my God/creator, I know he exists. Neither scientific hypotheses (from either side) or the words written by man (including the Bible) are needed for me to believe.

Yes.They even try in vain to use their beliefs to try and make a connection with everything scientific in order to say that everything scientific coincides with their idea that the Earth was created 6,000 years ago in six days.Personally, I think their argument is no better and about as "scientific" as this one:

the SCARY part is,they don't realize,or refuse to realize that there are MOUNTAINS of evidence to support evolution!!

i'm serious.....they think there's no evidence and that it's just a personal belief of a handful of scientists who are possessed by satan...!

see this is one example of such an answer
"
I can accept that Darwin probably didn't recant on his deathbed (it doesn't affect the truth of the bible whether he did or he didn't). What's laughable, however, is your assertion that there are "mountains of evidence to support evolution". "

around 50% of the USA share this opinion! can you believe it?!

The theory of evolution is just that. A theory. It has never been proved, and there are not millions of pieces of evidence . "Creative Design" is the current theory. Why people have a problem with God creating the world, I'll never understand. It's the most sensible explanation.

Frighteningly enough yes. It's what you call wishful thinking, willful ignorance, emotional need, and science illiteracy.
