Once upon a time a young lad found a jinn. He asked the jinn to give him peace of mind, not a care in the world. The jinn turned the young lad into a cow. He lived peacefully ever after without stress or worries. Careful what you wish.

Peace of mind comes with Trusting Jesus! It is a Peace that Passes "all" Understanding. You Must Trust Him tho! No Matter How rough things keep getting, Just " know'" That God WILL Take care Of You! Please Turn to your Bible, and read God's word ......HE SEES YOUR EVERY HEARTACHE, And is right there with you Ready and Waiting to Help You and Give you Peace And Joy and Strength! He Wants To Make Your Burdens LIGHT> And He Will. Trust Me. + + +

Your two statements effectively slam the door on your reception of peace, but never the peace itself, for that is your true state. You have always been in a state of peace...turn back to it with diligence, and perseverance. You never lost it, nor could you ever lose it.

If you want peace live according to the Spirit of God because peace is a fruit of the Spirit of God.

Rom 8:5,6 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Peace of mind is what your heart desire,so just stare at nice green tree in the park or botanic garden for a couple of hours. If you had enough then go home & if you have a hammock just lie in there & close your eyes until you fall asleep.
