If the only legal choices available are Christian choices, doesn't that make a mockery out of God's gift of free will?

Where in the NT does God give you the authority to pass laws forcing others to live as you dictate?

And if you have, did it actually strengthen your faith?

I'm asking because the more I read it, the more it confirms my atheism. Every page screams "Men, men, men wrote this."

scientist have taken a theory, or an idea and have made it a scientific fact. i am talking of course about evolution. the theory has many holes in it and even the most basic part of it cannot be experimented on to test it. they have tried to make corbon dating a true and infallable method of trying to determine the age of something. they did a carbon dating test on a clam that was a year old and found that according to the test, the clam was a few hundred thousand years old. then they did the exact same test and found that it was twice as old as before. why then do they use it for a support, if you get a different result every time. this leads to one statement on my part. the evolushion theory is a gigantic load of crap and must not be taught in our schools due to the fact that it is now a religious docterine. do you agree or dissagree with me and why?

what i mean is, Instead of an animal think just in its dna, you have several similar dnas but one suffers a mutation because a gamma ray, now you have lots of similar ones and one different, suppose the different is worst than the original, the different dies, but if the different is better, the different makes more copies of itself, and mixes with the ones who were similar, eventually all population have that new mutation, that is because the ones without the mutation die quicklier, and have less offspring, and the offspring mate with the ones with the ones of the new mutation anyway, now repeat the process ad nauseam.

To kill a Mormon just for being a Mormon? Back in the 1830's, then-Gov. Lilburn Boggs of Missouri put out the extermination order that said just that- sort of like Hitler's final solution.

I read this, and it got me thinking... Is prayer really worth the effort?
"What would happen if we get down on our knees and pray to God in this way:
Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure every case of cancer on this planet tonight. We pray in faith, knowing you will bless us as you describe in Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We pray sincerely, knowing that when God answers this completely heartfelt, unselfish, non-materialistic prayer, it will glorify God and help millions of people in remarkable ways.
Will anything happen? No. Of course not.
This is very odd. Jesus makes specific promises in the Bible about how prayer is supposed to work. Jesus says in many different places that he and God will answer your prayers".

Why do you put so much weight on a "THEORY"?

The Science of "Evolution" is nothing more than a "Theory". It offers you absolutely nothing on this side of Heaven. "NOTHING"!

A Theory by definition is simply an Idea or opinion about something, or thought and fancy as opposed to "FACT" or practice about something based on observation and reasoning. Theory implies probability(Chance). "Not sure", Not Certain, maybe, perhaps etc.

Faith says: "I BELIEVE IN GOD" In the beginning "GOD" created the Heaven and the Earth. Genesis 1:1.

God created us all with a measure of "Faith"(Believing without proof, Trust). Pray for faith. It comes from God,

The Bible is the Inspired word of God. 2 Timothy 3:15-17.

The Bible is not a fairy tale. Don't be duped(tricked or deceived) into false thinking. Don't miss heaven because you gave in to a "LIE"! God Loves You!!!!!! (John 3:16).

Religion is about faith. There is no evidence that there is a God or that their religion is correct therefore you cannot argue for your beliefs logically?

I believe in God but I would never try to argue it logically with anyone.
