Well, according to stats there are at least 3 billion people living below the American Poverty line of $15,000 a year. If you take Bill Gates $40 billon and divide among them you get a one time payment of $1,400 and after that nothing more, as Gates' money was accumulated.

And by the way Gates is doing just that, indrectly. His $40 billion is going to Libraries and Schools around the world in the form of computer systems (running, of course, XP and Vista).

Alfred Nobels dynamite fortunes ONLY to scientists and those with advanced degrees who do marvelous things like making A-Bombs

The rest of the rich people give out grants to filmmakers and artists (who are quite poor most of the time, but aren't exactly Africani's living in slums).

And among the RICH Bill Gates and Microsoft are the most hated in the world, YET he is giving most of what he has to see to it every community in the world is wired up with internet and computers so that EVERYONE can benefit from technology.

Everyone LOVES Big Oil and their Big rich people, but kick Bill Gates and Microsoft. Europe won't leave him alone!

Now you understand a little about why Communism fails miseribly. $40 billion to one is $700 to everyone. And then you have to take steps backwards and be more like the AFricani.

Ready for that. Ready to give up AC, Microwave popcorn, the auto, nice house, vactions, Ipods. Until EVERYONE can have one NO ONE SHOULD. That's the Communist way.

Some do and some really do help. Some give strangers money as well as to church charitable work. Christian though must make sure where they put there money. And how they choose to give. They must give responsible as God leads.

I agree with the old saying the flamboyant preacher Rev Ike use to say." The best way to help the poor is not be one of them!"
