See, the funny thing is this. We all have our opinions. Church people and "Athiests" especially seem to enjoy going after each other. As soon as one group starts pushing their ideals on others, you have conflict. Then you have anger and war and no one wants to try to understand each other.
When you say we need church, you're blaming us for being terrible. I'm sure you've lied, stolen, cheated, and sinned many other ways. But you don't say you've been wrong, you say we're wrong.
How come some cities in the south are full of churces, with people saying "have a blessed day," then they go out and shoot and rape each other at night? Why try to save me, when it lowers your chance to be apart of the 144,000 getting in at the end?
I'm religious. I believe in God and I do what's right in the world. But I don't feel pushing my religion on others is what God wants me to do. Especially if I know it'll turn them away from religion.
GOod luck, anyway.

The word translated incorrectly as "church" in the bible is ekklesia, which means a called-out community, NOT a building. Jesus told his followers NOT to go to, or pray in "churches", or anywhere in public, ONLY in private and to form righteous communities, NOT build churches.
Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt NOT be as the hypocrites [ARE]: for they love to pray standing in the churches and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and WHEN THOU HAST SHUT THY DOOR, pray to thy Father in private (Enoch 56:5; Sura 7:55) ; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
6:7 But when ye pray, use NOT vain repetitions, as the heathen [DO]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
6:8 Be NOT ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, BEFORE ye ask Him.

Who ever said church is only for Sunday? Church is good anytime, anyplace, so long as Jesus is present.

I say you scare the **** out of me. Is this some kind of plot to get us out of here?
Here's an advice don't try to preach/convert an atheist or you'll get insulted. Refrain from saying to us "god still loves you" "you are in denial of god" "god did it" "Atheists have no morals" because we find you insulting, condescending and outright stupid when you say this phrases or similar ones.

Psalms 34:1 Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away.
I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!
4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! 9 Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack!
10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. 11 Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. 14 Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. 16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. 17 When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. 20 He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
21 Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. 22 The LORD redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
Praise the Lord!
