I was lied to by the elders from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Rockland Massachusetts.

As soon as the Watchtower investigates and deals with the Rockland congregation elders I may consider stopping my postings as a counter-cult activist

Danny Haszard Jehovah's Witness X 33 years and 3rd generation (been there) home page,Watchtower Whistle-blower http://www.DannyHaszard.com

(last I checked Google showed I had over 50,000 pages up and I make more everyday.Wouldn't it be wonderful if the Watchtower society did the right thing)

I read this to my 2 year old daughter, and she loves it. She can now identify (and often acts out) the basics of these 39 Bibles stories. They are easy for the young child to understand. They teach only the basics: people, significant event, God's love. On a cognitive level, it teaches what toddlers can understand. There have been times when I have expanded on the details of a given child bible story when my daughter's interest has been high. All in all, it is a great start.

Well I have been deeply wounded by many of those who are at the forefront where I am. Even the whole Congregation. Suffering from a "weird illness" nobody understands, I appear to have been excluded, overlooked and ............I could go on......and on.
But, at the end of the day Jehovah knows what you have suffered, never forget that Satan would like nothing better than to exploit the disappointments we face to induce us to give up. But rather it is an opportunity for us to prove our love for God. Proverbs 11:27.

Besides, if you leave Jehovah, where will you go? John 6 :68.

Elders are just the same as us- sinners! I'm not in the truth to be dictated to by imperfect men, I'm in the truth to make my Gods heart happy, I'm there for Him, I've sided with Him. I'm not going to let some idiot's over zealous mis-thinking, unkind judgments, smug superiority, etc spoil my relationship with Jehovah, or rob me of my chance for life in paradise!

If someone stole into your house and attempted to make of with the single most precious thing you owned, and you happened to walk in just as he was leaving, would you stand aside and make room for him to exit? No! You would wrestle him and fight to hold on to that most precious thing with all your might and not let go! You would struggle with all your power to keep it.
Don't let others steel from you the precious truth you have, don't let disappointment and hurt convince you that it wasn't worth the fight. Jeremiah 17:9

Foget those who act unchristian, leave their reckoning to Jehovah, he doesn't always act according to our timetable, but He will make an accounting in His own due time. 2 Peter 3:9

There have always been some in the true Congregation who aren't really there for the right reason and have attempted to stumble others. Psalms 55:12-19. Don't let them succeed!

I have known of 3 Witnesses that have had very bad experiences. The worse was a man who quit being a Witness. He said when he realized the errors on the Watchtower he wanted out. He tried to show the local leaders the issues he found, but they did not want to see or her it.

Well his family was instructed not to talk with him - except only when necessary. All is "friends" stoped associating withhim. One day he returned from work and his wife and children were gone.

Not me personally, but a friend had to watch her husband die-when a forbidden (by the witnesses) blood transfusion would have saved his life. He and his family were witnesses and they overrode her wish to give the transfusion. He was a young man with small children and she was, of course bitter about losing her husband. The doctors and nurses were very angry and frustrated because they were powerless in the face of the family's decision. I would admire the guy for dying for his conviction, except I'd then have to admire the two zealots who flew into the Twin Towers. All thought they were right. You be the judge.

Most of them are very kind people but hopelessly deceived by The Watchtower and it's publications.Their originator --pastor Russell was very wrong in his prophesies which did not come to pass. His succesors did even worse.

I have only had good experiences. I can't speak for everyone, of course. I am happy to be part of this extended family. Sorry if you had a bad experience. Things will not be perfect in this imperfect world.

Yes, some here feel that their experiences with Jehovah's Witnesses were "bad".

Misguided friends of Judas Iscariot would likely feel that some of his experiences with Jesus were "negative". In their minds, they might pretend that Jesus "was wasteful", or "argumentative", or "told Judas to do wrong", or "ruined Judas' finances", or "pushed Judas to suicide".

(Matthew 26:8-10) [Judas] became indignant and said: “Why this waste? ...Jesus said to them: “Why do you try to make trouble for the woman?

(John 13:27-30) Jesus, therefore, said to him: “What you are doing get done more quickly.” ...Judas was holding the money box... he went out immediately.

(Matthew 27:3-5) Judas...turned the thirty silver pieces back to the chief priests and older men... So he threw the silver pieces into the temple and withdrew

(Matthew 27:5) [Judas] hanged himself.

I have never been a witness, so I do not know about the inner circle that you talk about.
The elders have come and visted me and we have discussed their false prophecies and how they can't quote someone straight to save their life.
