Well, it seems likely that God does not actually exist. However, if God did exist, I don't think he'd have such an idea because it would go against the way I define 'God'. A being who merely rules over our universe is not necessarily God, God must be a being which rules over EVERYTHING. Or at least everything in this area of existence...things that exist but that we cannot possibly interact with are in the realm of philosophy only and would not be included.
