Could you imagine upon death your soul leaves your flesh and you travel down down down into uter blackness. Being taken by demons to your eternal destination down deep into the blackness of the bely of the earth. Never to see the light of day never to see the stars in the heavens or the sun again. To live in blackness to live in eternal fire with all the Horors that ever existed on earth and all the pains ever created on earth and all the evil that ever existed on earth. Would you give up 70 or 80 maybe 90 years for eternity? The Bible is quite clear in Revelations that those who go into captivity into captivity they will go, That they shall recieve the full wrath of God unmixed undeluted were there screams shall rise for eternity. Do you think it could be more clear than that? Jesus great comand is that we worship God the creator and sutainer of life and lovur neighbor as our selves and that we should live. He also states that who ever calls on his name shall be saved. He saved me mor

Baptize their children as babies? Shouldn't you let them grow and experince all ways of life so that they may come to there own decision when they are ready?

We all know how the news is, especially with their love for negative and depressing news. I'm sure it's bad over there, but is it really as bad as they say? It's dangerous, c'mon, it's not that dangerous? Fear, c'mon, isn't fear going a bit overboard? I'm sure that there must be Israelis and Palestinians living over there that get along together just fine with eachother right? I would even bet that there are Israelis and Palestinians there that are good friends and their children all play with eachother right? I'm sure that probally even most people on both sides get along together just fine and find the whole thing thing just stupid right? I'm sure that there are even Israelis over there that are against their government and Palestinians that are against theirs right?

Imagine you were in heaven right now, and you had the choice to do absolutely anything you wanted to!

What would you choose to do?

And if it's something you can do on earth as well, why aren't you doing it now? (or are you?)

Just curious!
Have Fun!

Does anyone actually believe that it's a Christian thing to beat their children and keep them in cages? Someone just asked if Christians beat their children and one answerer said she heard some keep their kids in cages.

Do people really believe this? I realize these things happen (which is sick and wrong), but do people actually believe that this is done just by some Christians and no other people of other faiths or Atheists?

. . . set the physics of our universe. Due to the nature of quantum indeterminacy, things evolved by chance to create galaxies (top down theory) or stars that aggregated into galaxies (bottom up theory) and the solar nebulae of suns created planets (very embryonic) and ultimately, if the planets were in the "green" zone of their parent star, evolved into life, some of it sentient (i.e., self-aware). Bear with me, there's a question forthcoming. If all these things could come about from the initial conditions of the high energy plasma state of the universe, isn't it true that God has been out of a job for about 13.7 billion years? Unless, of course, you believe that God DOES really determine the outcome of football games. Looking for serious answers but if you want to go for "2" by all means go for it, I don't begrudge anything. No violation flags from this asker.

Ok, so i don’t believe in God, but then again i don’t completely say that it is completely impossible that there could be one or at least a being that could be more powerful then men, i also don’t really think that people should push their beliefs on others, be it Christian or Atheist, and that its more important for the world to start accepting that everybody is going to believe different things, then forcing people to admit that there is or is not a God. What am i an Atheist or something else, i also don’t believe in anything like ghosts or hell and heaven, i fully believe that this is the one life we get

I have been helping my mom who has health problems since about September of last year. I am the baby out of a large family, lots of siblings. I live closest to my mom. But feel hurt and sadened none of them seem to really care about coming to spend time with my mom. "OUT of sight out of mind." In the mean time, I am watching her slowly die, and it is emotionally too much for me.
I have two small children and a husband to also consider, and feel overwhelmed when I know my mom spends so much time alone.
I do all her bills, shopping, cleaning, laundry, appointments etc... Plus take on my own responsibilities. I have no time for me. Let alone time with my family.
I feel resentful, but I know God would want me to do exactly what I am doing.
I feel bitter to my siblings.
And I feel weighed down.

Any advice, I appreciate.

Jesus is presented as being self-existent (John 1:4; 14:6); omnipresent (Matthew 28:20; 18:20); omniscient (John 4:16; 6:64; Matthew 17:22-27); omnipotent (Revelation 1:8; Luke 4:39-55; 7:14, 15; Matthew 8:26, 27); and possessing eternal life (1 John 5:11, 12, 20; John 1:4)."
Do all the above make sense to make Jesus part of the Godhead?
