You need to support your local church. Giving an offering to other ministries is fine but your tithes need to support your local congregation.

Tithing comes decrease than Moses' regulation, and Christians do no longer stick to Moses' regulation as Christians declare that they are decrease than grace. for this reason, tithing isn't needed. If all of us or any church tells you in any different case, then it is a lie. *Tithing practised via Levites through fact there became no taxation device, and those tithes went into communal amenities, or community desires (practise, homes, and so on). **Marielle, Malachi is between the books from the previous testomony. How would desire to Jesus assist you be attentive to a minimum of a few thing from the previous testomony while the discern of Jesus basically spread out from the recent testomony onwards?

I would go off of what you personally feel convicted to do.
I personally would put my home church first, but I also believe its okay to divide your tithe among other christian organizations/churches. As long as the money is still going back to GOD (HIS will/work), I don't see any problems.

Tithing is something between you and GOD - not between you and your church. Tithes and offerings are most commonly given to one's church, however it doesn't have to be that way. You could give 1% to your church, 3% to a non-profit agency, 2% to your neighbor in need and 4% to help fund scholarship programs for education and/or youth sports. It really doesn't matter how you tithe or to whom you donate your money. It doesn't always have to be just your money either, although many Christians might disagree. God tells us to give of the first fruits of our labor. Sometimes this involves the best of our talent and abilities as well. The point is, God wants to see our obedience and willingness to part with 10% of what we have - He is not concerned so much as to WHOM we give it, but THAT we give it. God can do so much more with our 10% than we could ever hope to do with 100%, so tithing is not only being obedient to God, but is also a wise thing to do. Give to whomever you want, as long as you are obeying the Lord in the manner in which you do it.

The Bible instructs believers in Christ to give generously, to give cheerfully, and to give regularly. There is no Biblical formula for how to split a tithe between a church and another Christian organization. If a Christian believes the tithe is binding on believers today, the 10% should go to the church (based on the storehouse principle of Malachi 3:10.
Further, if a believer prayerfully decides to give 10% in offerings, we believe he/she can give as the Spirit leads him/her, i.e. 8% to their church and 2% to other Christian causes. What matters is that we, as believers, make sacrificial financial offerings to God – not necessarily to the church. Each and every believer should pray to God for wisdom in regards to how much and to whom God would have them make their offerings.

I would say that the tithe should go to your home church--this is where you are being fed.
If you would like to support other ministries with an offering that would be okay but your tithe must go to your home church.

Your tithes is 10% back to God, I believe, not necessarily a church. So I say any cause that would show God's love is as equally worthy of your tithing as a church.

Paul specifically said to support your own teachers (1 Cor. 9:11-14, 1 Tim. 5:17-18). However, our church has thousands of people supporting, so I have no problem giving some to my local church and some to other religious causes.

You should support your home church. After that you can give to other organizations. Your giving should be according to this NT passage and not limited to a tithe.
2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
