No, it is never too late to make your first Catholic Communion. I made mine when I was in the 6th grade with moving and all in the military, but I'm glad, I got more out of it being older. Today I'm a Eucharistic Minister, but it is never too late to make your First Communion.

The said communion of the catholics is not true. It is a false belief. It is not in the bible. Catholics have misterpreted the verse in the bible which says , take this bread or eat this bread which is my body and soul.. If you are eating that bread, which came from the bakery or made by the priest , you are eating the body of Jeus Christ then. So that is false belief.

The bread and wine which Jesus said represented Jesus Christ as the bead and wine. He mean to say tht we will always remember Jesus Christ and the Son of God .

Usually, it's made when the child is in second grade, which is about age 7-8, so it is a tiny bit later than usual, but I've seen teens and adults even making their communions at the same time the kids are.

Putting a child through these ridiculous religious hoops only asserts a method to find differences with others, and must also deny them mainstrean sceintific knowledge about the natural world in order to perpetuate another adults infantile religious concepts and beliefs.

Indoctrinating young children into a religious belief system is child abuse, period..!!

DON'T DO IT..!!!

Hang your head in shame..!!!

You should ask your parish priest. I know children in 2nd grade make their first communion and children in 4th or 5th grade receive conformation.

Not really, it's something that you can decide when to do it, there are even people who get their fisrt communion when they are adults...
I guess the important thing here is the act! No matter when you do it...

Of course not. You should do that when you are ready to do so with the proper presence of mind and the understanding of the sacrament. It is never too late.
