Ok, so i don’t believe in God, but then again i don’t completely say that it is completely impossible that there could be one or at least a being that could be more powerful then men, i also don’t really think that people should push their beliefs on others, be it Christian or Atheist, and that its more important for the world to start accepting that everybody is going to believe different things, then forcing people to admit that there is or is not a God. What am i an Atheist or something else, i also don’t believe in anything like ghosts or hell and heaven, i fully believe that this is the one life we get

An Atheist is someone that believes in facts and what is proved today. They have also grasped on to Darwin's theory of evolution. Creatures either adapt to their environment or die trying. In a nut shell it's emotion vs intellect.

The fact is that there is no proof that god exists. Do I rule it out? No! Is there more of a chance that aliens came and planted us on this earth? Yes! But I don't believe that either. There are no facts to prove it.

I stay away from the "My cloud being is stronger than your cloud being." It gives people an excuse to do anything. Either it be good or bad like God made me help that person, or the Devil made me steal it. You are responsible of your own actions. You think things through and get the facts. If this is you, than YES you are an Atheist.

yes you're an atheist. If there was ever significant proof of a higher being then you would reject your atheistic beliefs and believe that a higher being exists. Facts are everything for atheists.

You're not agnostic because they believe that we will never find out if there is or isn't a god. Unless if that's what you believe?

EDIT..................................................

If you look up 'atheism' in the dictionary, you will probably find it defined as the belief that there is no God. Certainly many people understand atheism in this way. Yet many atheists do not, and this is not what the term means if one considers it from the point of view of its Greek roots. In Greek 'a' means 'without' or 'not' and 'theos' means 'god.' From this standpoint an atheist would simply be someone without a belief in God, not necessarily someone who believes that God does not exist. According to its Greek roots, then, atheism is a negative view, characterized by the absence of belief in God.

AND

The average theologian (there are exceptions, of course) uses 'atheist' to mean a person who denies the existence of a God. Even an atheist would agree that some atheists (a small minority) would fit this definition. However, most atheists would stongly dispute the adequacy of this definition. Rather, they would hold that an atheist is a person without a belief in God. The distinction is small but important. Denying something means that you have knowledge of what it is that you are being asked to affirm, but that you have rejected that particular concept. To be without a belief in God merely means that the term 'god' has no importance or possibly no meaning to you. Belief in God is not a factor in your life. Surely this is quite different from denying the existence of God. Atheism is not a belief as such. It is the lack of belief.
When we examine the components of the word 'atheism,' we can see this distinction more clearly. The word is made up of 'a-' and '-theism.' Theism, we will all agree, is a belief in a God or gods. The prefix 'a-' can mean 'not' (or 'no') or 'without.' If it means 'not,' then we have as an atheist someone who is not a theist (i.e., someone who does not have a belief in a God or gods). If it means 'without,' then an atheist is someone without theism, or without a belief in God.

I don't think you're an atheist, you just don't know what to believe and understandably so. Look at the assortment of religions out there, each claiming to be "The One". I'm not religious and I don't go to church, simply because I can't find a religion that I think is "The One" I am very spiritual, I pray for various things...I pray our soldiers to come home safe and soon, for the homeless, for the elderly that are living in poverty. I think I'm praying to God, I'm not sure either. But I do know I am praying to a higher being than me. What he is called is immaterial it still the same being we are all praying to regardless of your religion. If you're not sure just look around and marvel at the wonders of nature.

You'll get some answers saying that your agnostic, but you really sound more like an Atheist who's afraid to completely let go, or simply irreligious, meaning that your just not religious.

(I like to separate the irreligious from the atheists, because there's a difference in not being concerned with God, and knowing that God is fake. When the irreligious [like the young Kirk Cameron] are converted, Christians like to claim that it proves atheism is "false." This is simply not true. A real atheist can never be converted because he knows how the magic trick works. And you cannot simply wish yourself back into ignorance.)

You do believe in religious tolerance, which is a good thing when religions are peaceful and mind their own business, but a bad, bad thing when religions become violent and/or push their religious agenda upon government.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where the later is already true. 9/11... the war on drugs... attempts to overturn Roe v Wade.... the war in Iraq... So unlike you, I am opposed to religious toleration. Religions that cross the line must be stopped.

You are agnostic. People need to realize that not all agnostics believe we will never find out whether or not God exists. Agnostics are those who have not reached a definite conclusion about the existence or nonexistence of God.

An atheist believes that there is no possibility a supreme being (god) exists. An agnostic allows for the possibilty. From the description you give, you are agnostic.

You are an atheist. Just not a stupid one that completely eliminates the chances of there being a God. Because..in general...we dont really know.

It sounds to me like you're Agnostic, but some would call being Agnostic the same as being an Atheist.
