The very word Orthodox pretty much denotes conservative.

It's a mixed bag. There are some individuals of every stripe. On the whole, most Eastern Churches lean toward conservative.

many orthodox are 'liberal' in things like global warming and 'conservative' in things concerning morality. there are possitions like support for abortion or "gay marriage" that an orthodox christian cannot support or aid politically
